Oval Toleware Metal Tray 1940s Era- Vintage Black Ground with Burnished Gold Edging and Design Detail- Highlighted with Burnished Teal Berries. Great item to add to collection of vintage toleware/trays. 16.5" x 13.5" x.5" Age unknown. Appears to be of 1940s era. THE FINE PRINT: I make every effort to describe condition of item. This is a vintage piece and in condition to be expected for its age and usage. Paint flecked in numerous spots. Two separate dents along edge. Two punctures on rim. Piece has been varnished overall to preserve paint. Giving a somewhat shiny appearance. Ask questions beforehand as there are no returns. I am not a business. Vintage metal tole tray. Hand painted toleware. Black tray with a floral pattern and goldtone trim. Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! No rust. Back side of tray has scratches. Pretty tray with keyhole handles. All of my items come from a very non smoking home. From a cousin’s estate we have a large black metal tray. Hand painted toleware– most likely from the 1950’s. The front has beautiful roses in yellow. Orange, pink and light pink with gold trim around the edge. It is octagonal oblong shaped with a fancy lattice work around the edge and handles. The back has a tag that says Fine Arts Studio Hand-Painted Phila 47 PA. I'm not sure when that dates it. But I think that is the 50’s. That's when this type of stuff was more popular. Some of the paint has flaked off on the flowers in the middle. It still a pretty nice piece of nostalgia! Great for your collection! Antique Black and Gold Trimmed Metal Toleware Document Box
I can recall this box in my family's posession in the 1940's. It has the name"Miss Anna B. Fairman" printed on the front. But that is not a family name that I know about. It is in the shape of a cash box at 11" wide by 7 3/4" deep by 4 3/4" high. The hinges are broken as though, lacking a key, it was opened by breaking the hinge. My recollection was that it was referred to as a"death box" as though important papers were kept in it and to be opened after death. The box is probably native to Santa Clara Valley in California, but could have been brought from Illinois in 1920 by my grandfather to California. It has been cluttering up my storage for 30 years and needs a new resting place.

Vtg tole toleware metal table lamp.Mustard yellow with black stripes,accents
As it is now it is 20"H. Two condition notes. One. There is a very shallow dent on one side. Does not stand out at all. It's very minor. The other is that I believe there was a metal frame that held up the shade. For now it works to just rest it atop the bottom half but the bulb peeks out above the top this way. Jerry rigging a couple old wire hangers would work. The base is weighted for support. You could always repaint it if you don't like the original yellow finish. Vintage Mid Century Black And Gold Toleware Metal Wall Lamp
Up for auction is a nice Vintage Black and Gold Metal Toleware Wall Lamp. The shade has scalloped edging around the bottom of it and gold leaf around the center. There is a light scuff on the shade and a couple of places around the edge that the black paint has been rubbed off. It may have had a gold reticulated piece that went around the top edge but is missing. I have seen others listed that do not have that piece so that is why I am not sure it originally had it or not. The shade measures 7 7/8" across and is 4 1/4" high. It has the key style on and off switch. The sconce part that mounts to the wall has gold leaf pattern on the wall plate. It looks like the gold final has been replace. All the paint to this piece is original. The lamp has been tested and it does work. The chimney is included.

Vintage Black Tole Toleware Oval Metal Tray Pink Roses White Violets
This oval black Toleware tole tray is in good condition! The tray measures 17-1/2 inches long and 13-1/2 inches across. It features a couple of pink rose blooms paired with whitish/pinkish/bluish violets. The tray has gold detail on the raised rim all the way around. It shows signs of wear but like most tole. Toleware Magazine Rack- Shown here is a lovely footed toleware magazine rack that measures 15" X 9" X 9" it has a center handle and is in reasonably good condition. There is some rust wear on the curly sides and a few scratches typical of its age. Which can easily be touched up.
