Vintage Hollywood Regency Tole Lamp French Bouillotte Style Black Metal Shade
You are bidding on a fantastic vintage tole lamp in the French Bouillotte style. The lamp measures approximately 25.75" tall from bottom to top of finial. The base is approximately 7.25" wide at it's widest point. The shade meaures approximately 15" in diameter and is approximately 6.5" tall. This lamp features 3 candle style sockets that take standard size bulb stems. A classic tole metal shade, and the original arrow shaped finial. It's black in color with fabulous gold detail embellishments. The lamp works beautifully. The switch can be twisted to 4 different positions-off. 1 bulb lit, 2 bulbs lit, or all 3 bulbs lit. One of the plastic candle socket covers has some cracking. This could easily be replaced or positioned to be conspicious. Mid-century French tole. A hand painted cachepot in a rusty shade of Chinese red with neoclassical painting, a lyre, a torch, a horn, acanthus in gold and black, a reticulated border, just lovely. It has signs of age as shown, discoloration, some rust inside from use, more faintly on the outside as shown in the 1st photo and last 2, to me only adding to the patina and charm. It measures about 10" across the top, 7 5/8" in height. It is marked"Made In France" and bears the remnant of an old label from Chicago's venerable Marshall Field& Company store where it must have been purchased originally. Offering a bouillette style tole lamp shade in very nice vintage condition. Exterior paint is green. Interior paint is a light gold. The rims are metallic gold. Measurements are as ff: 6" high 13" top diameter 15" bottom diameter 4" Finial 5 1/4" center post(rod) I tried to photograph as many of the paint/metal issues as I could so please refer to the photos for visual inspection of the shade. Here is Vintage Italian Style Tole Metal Electric Floral Wall Sconce and is very Cottage Chic. This is an electric light with an on/off switch on the cord. This is a floral design with leaves and flowers and is green. Pink, white and yellow. It measures approximately 22" tall and 15 1/2" wide. This is in good working condition, however there are some spots of paint loss and it could use some more detailed cleaning and this can all be seen in the photos. You could easily touch up the paint or repaint it a solid color. This works great but you will need to look at the wiring yourself to determine if it would need to be rewired, it looks okay to me but I don't know that much about it.
