Front floral paint design is looks very good. On the side near bottom there is a slight rough area about the size of the palm of a hand on the metal surface and small amount of paint wear in this area and near the very bottom rim(see photo) bottom looks ok to me, minimal wear, upper top rim shows a couple of areas of small indent areas where metal is slightly turned in- not serious in my opinion but needed to mention will be sold as is. This is a vintage mid century probably 1950s or 1960s era hand painted tole lap desk top box signed by Aileen. I have come across other items painted by her from other estates and they are all beautiful. I find her work in Kansas City and surrounding areas. Sadly I know nothing about this wonderful tole painter. She could also be a china painter as this looks like how a china painter paints. This box is wood and is 13" by 14" by 4 1/2" on top end and weighs four pounds. It is hinged and is signed on the back. It has felt lined bottom underside and the box is in beautiful condition. Cachepot aprox. 4" tall 9" widest 12" long including handles Fabulous vintage and very hard to find hand painted tole planter. It has exceptionally appealing scalloped top with graceful flared body and handles. It is beautifully decorated in a luscious red color. Accented gilded hand painted leaf decoration. On each side is a lovely painted medallion of roses and flower. The paint is original. And it has an attractively distressed surface. All-in-all a delicious confection. Condition is as shown. We are pleased to offer this exquisite. Antique, Mid Century(1950s) French Tole chandelier. This stunning chandelier features a painted tole bouquet with an abundance of leaves and porcelain roses. There are 16 large(2.75" roses that accent this lovely chandelier. There are soft pink roses(the tips fade to a pinkish white color) as well as blue roses that have white mixed in for interest and depth. The chandelier is 5 light in candlestick design. Each light has a tole bobeche with a flower petal pattern and a candle wax drip sleeve cover. The bottom of the fixture features the faux rope/twin accent which binds the bouquet together. This is a lovely chandelier. It is in very good condition with only minor signs of age/use. The porcelain roses are in very good condition with only VERY MINOR chipping on some of the tips. This is felt more ... morethan seen and this does not distract from the fixture. In general, it is in very good condition. The chandelier includes approximately 3 feet of hanging chain and wire as well as the original ceiling cover/canopy. There are no manufacturer's marks. Quaint vintage 1920's petit flower basket. A fresh pick from France! Lovely roses& leaf pattern wreath are sculpted on both sides of the basket base. The wicker has a dusting of gold paint throughout giving an old world elegance to the piece. It's petit nature makes this basket sought after, lovely in all it's presence. Stands 10.5" tall and measures 7.5" x 5" oblong with a wood floor. There is breakage around the outer edge of the basket rim but does not detract from the overall integrity of the basket.
