The colors remain as bright as if they were just painted. Up Close you can see and feel the texture of the paint when you touch it and the brush storkes are still evident. This tray is 19 5/8" in diameter and in great condition. There are a few very minute scuffs on the border of the tray that more than likely will come off with a bit of soft scrub. It looks great on a plate stand on top of a buffet etc. if you don't have wall space for it. I like the white background. Much brighter than most tole trays one sees on Ebay. These brackets are KILLERS! They are handmade& carved solid wood- date from the 1920's or perhaps before. Beautifully carved on three sides with gilded acathus leaf type motifs. Backs& shelf tops are medium dark brown. They are 9 1/2" top to bottom. The shelf is 7 1/4" wide and protrudes a bit over 5 1/2" from the wall. Came from a local estate- I just couldn't walk off and leave them! They are in excellent condition, original finish has only a very few, very small nicks- though I might nwant to suggest changing to more substantial hanging depending on your intended use. Has 2 compartments, with the top one larger for magazines or larger envelopes, and the smaller bottom one for letters or whatever( Has a hole near the top for hanging. This very charming black wall fan is tole painted with pink and blue flowers and birds on a black background. It's in very good condition with no damage to the leaf. Ribs, sticks and boleta. The head is tight and rust-free. The rivets are in good, but not pristine condition. The paper from one of the ribs on the backside has been glued where it separated from the rib. There is a small amount of loose paint on the leaf. The first guardstick has 2 chips in the paint and the second guardstick has sticker residue which can be removed. Even though these damages are considered minor for older items, they must be noted to the potential buyer. The last 4 photos shows the damaged areas. Measures 22"H and 33"W to 36"W when fully opened.
