This little gem is in excellent perfect condition for the tole collector complete with wire stretch wall hanger ready to go for any small space anywhere in your home. The hanger was twisted during photo shoot. I have straightened and tightened it now to perfection. This is a large Tole tray that measures 24" by 18" and is in very good condition. The front side features a flower motif on a green background. The back is solid green and has a label for Art Craft products. This tray is in very good condition. There is some paint missing around the edges And some missing where the sides meet the pan. There is also some extra( paint that has been spattered or spilled or Painted on it. I can't tell if it was an accident or an on purpose because of the way the trail of paint misses the flowers. Unusual. Miniature Toleware hand painted tin tray. This tray has some age and a little paint wear on some of the cherries. There is also some over rub marks as you can see in the photos. It is also is about 1 1/8” deep. The handles left and right are circular rolled under. Please refer to the scan of the underside for reference. The stenciled design in cream. Green and red paint on both left and right sides is beautiful and carries over along the top and bottom sides. There appears to be an under wash of a copper color that shows through the paint in various areas and quite a lot on the reverse side. The piece of older tape on the reverse mentions the fact that at one time the piece had four balled feet, one at each corner. These however are no longer present. The character of the tray does not suffer with them missing. ... moreThe seams of the tin are tight with the exception of one ¾”slight split in the tin seam running from the base of the tray diagonally to the top corner. Nothing really serious. There are a couple of older light scratches in the base area. A great addition to any Toleware, Tole, Tin Painted Tin, Tableware, Primitive or Americana collection. Tin Tole Tip Tray Black Hand Painted Flowers Vintage
I don't know much at all about these things. its yard sale season and I try to grab vintage items no matter what they are) I actually had to search eBay just to figure out what to call it and to see what section to put it in. The tray is roughly 7 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches. I would give it a 94 to 95 out of 100% in condition. There are some small scratches that you have to hold the tray at an angle to see on the front. And a couple spots on bottom, but as you can see from pics it is a BEAUTIFUL- SOLID piece. I believe these are HAND Painted and this one is signed by the painter. TOO you can see on the back there is a HALLMARK stamp but I have no idea what company it is from. Thanks for looking!

This is a pre-owned vintage set. Really handy and usable in your bar or office area. Makes for a cute KITCHEN NIC NAC decor. The only flaw to mention is one of the coasters have a rough area as seen in photo. The Tray and all the other coasters are in surprisingly good condition for their age. The coasters have minimal paint flecs around the rims hardly worth mentioning while the tray is free of paint loss. The theme is GRAPES and kind of fits a Christmas Theme.Rich colors of GREEN& GOLD. Up for bid is this lovely old tole tinware tray. Beautifully hand painted on a green ground that I found inside a trunk. There are cut-out handles on the sides. It is approx.13" x 10" This is in very fine antique condition for its age, the paint has oxidized a bit, and there are some rubs and tiny scratches, but nothing not considered natural for an item of this age and it would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Vintage Hand Painted toleware bread tray tin ND1728
Unusual tole painted tin tray or bread basket measures 11" x 6 3/4" and is 2" deep at the center point. The design is done in dark green. Mustard and two shades of a russet pumpkin color. The finish is rough and aged but there is no paint loss and no dents in the tin. Tole painting became popular again in the mid 20th century and we believe this to be an example from that time period. Vintage Rectangular Hand Painted Tin Tray ND880
Very pretty 12" x 17" tole tray. The design is done in gold powders and gold leaf highlighted in umber and etched to define the flower petals. The work is reasonably well-skilled and done by M.B. in 1954 as indicated in the signature on the reverse. It shows some signs of use: scratches on the back. Two small areas of paint loss on the rim one of 1/4" x 1/16" and one 1/2" x 1/8" There is a rough mark on the floor of the tray just above the large flower which can be seen in photo#3 and a tiny dent with no paint loss that appears as a gray dot on photo#3 to the right above the leaf spray. It dates. I would guess, to the mid to late 1800s. The paint is worn and there are scattered paint losses, but the painted surface is stable not flaking. The tray itself is in very good condition- flat, not warped, and no corrosion. A beautiful old tray with wear but with the quality of the original painting still evident. Early 19th century japanned tin toleware bread tray or basket with original asphaltum painted surface. Decoration is strikingly similar to examples from the Filley tinshop in Philadelphia. The tray has some round mark, but NO ANY WEAR OF PAINTING, NO LOST OF COLOR, NO SCRATCHES. You can't see the mark on the picture,you can't see it when tray displays, you can see it really very close holding the tray. The Tray was display on wall like collectible decoration. The colors are bright vibrant. The pictures can't show the real beauty of the tray because the tray reflect the light like the mirror.
