Exquisitely painted. Varnished, and signed by the artist in 1955. Large Tole serving tray with a floral pattern/motif signed by C. Shannon. In excellent condition, especially considering its age. I have seen many of these trays, and this one absolutely stands out due to the detail and color used by the artist. The little blue flowers are my personal favorites. It is truly unusual. Vintage metal tole tray. Hand painted toleware. Black tray with a floral pattern and goldtone trim. Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! Nice estate sale find. This large toleware serving tray is in very good condition. Black background with a colorful floral motif in lilacs and mauves with green foliage and gold corner graphics. Measures a generous 16" x 12" with a raised 1 3/4" rim. Cut out handles and punched round hole design on the long sides. Minimal paint loss on the top side- there is one corner with a small amount of rust(see 6th picture) The bottom side has normal counter wear for this type of serving piece. Celadon Green & Floral Metal Toleware Tray with Scroll Cutout Edge
This is a vintage metal toleware serving tray with a celadon green background. Painted with flowers, the top edge painted gold. There is a cutout handle at each end and a scroll design cutout on the side edges. This is in very good condition with a few small areas where the paint is scuffed or flaked. I found one small rust spot about the size of half a pencil eraser that can be seen in the last pic. The back of the tray is also in good condition, rust-free. V ery nice hand painted tole tray with a floral Tole hand painted design in rose. Blue and white on a sage green tray. It is a rectangular octagon with a gold painted edge. It is signed and has the original Nashco Products foil label on the back. Label reads"Nashco Products Hand-Painted Chip& Alcohol Resistant New York" It is in good condition with very little wear to the design. But there is wear to the gold trim around the outside edges and minor paint loss to all of the corners on the back of the tray. There are also some scratches to the back of the tray. There is also some rust on the bottom. This tray would make a great addition to a collection or would be a great display item ... morein a shabby chic decor. This beautiful plate has a lack background with a floral picture in the middle and scroll designs around the sides. Near the picture is written Koctehko. It is in very good condition. But has some light scratches that can be seen when tilted under the light, and some slight wear mainly on the back. On the back there is a mark that looks like a tulip. I don’t know it’s age. Round metal tray Virginia souvenir Hand painted Floral w/ gold accents on green
This is an 11" tray. Not really big enough for a TV dinner tray, but I think it could work for drinks. It is pretty enough to just use for display. The flowers look hand-painted, which I tried to show in the pictures. A few scuffs on the top side, more than a few on the bottom and there is that one chipped area that has rust in it now. Overall condition is pretty good, no dents, dings or bends. I don't really think this is antique though, just vintage. It does need cleaning.
