I believe this style is called Tole or Toleware. The sconces have a tag that read"Made in Italy" wrapped around the base. The sconces are made of metal that has been painted a gold color. The sconces are roughly 15 inches tall and close to 7 inches at their widest. I'm not sure how old these are but they appear to be very old. All the items I sell are pre-owne d and may have wear from age. Use, and storage. Available is a set of vintage Italian tole metal wall sconces and candle holders. If shabby and chic is what you are looking for. This certainly qualifies as shabby! They are amazingly quite sturdy.The paint is mostly gone and there is rust. Some like this look. These could be displayed as they are, or restored and repainted. I don't know the year these were made. They were purchased many years ago. I was told they were made in Italy. VTG Large Italian Tole Flower Wall Candle Sconce Metal Sculpture Candelabra
This unique well made vintage metal wall hanging is approximately 28" tall and 42" wide. And sits flush on the wall. There are two loops on the back to hang it. Although not marked nor does it have it's original tag that it is made in Italy(or I can't find the mark) it appears to be of that quality. Very little paint loss, overall in great condition. The six flowers are actual candle sconces but also looks great without candles.
