Up for auction is a small round vintage hand painted Florentine tole tray. The tray has a design of pale aqua and gold gilt. It also has small red dots on the design. It has a scalloped edge. There are no markings on the back of the tray. But I believe it was made in Italy. This vintage pre-owned tray has wear from age and use. The design in the center of the tray has a small amount of wear. But there are a lot of chips on the front and back scalloped edges and on the back of the tray. The colors are red and gold gilt with blackish highlights with a fleur de lis design in the center. Tray measures 11 in. x 7 1/2 in.one handle has an old repair. There is some wear to the finish but not a lot. Vintage Italian Florentine Toleware wood platter/tray in very good vintage condition. Shows it's age with great patina. Gilt. Orange and green. Measures 11 1/2" diameter. There's a 1/2" in length scratch on the green painted area. Also appears to have some glue dripped on the back side. Vintage items like this are never perfect and that's what makes them so special.
