THE FINE PRINT: I make every effort to describe condition of item. This is a vintage piece and in condition to be expected for its age and usage. Paint worn in numerous spots along sides. Rim and back. No dents and is in great condition considering age and usage. Rusted scratches throughout piece. Piece has been varnished overall to preserve paint. Giving a somewhat shiny appearance. This is a large retangular tray from the 1940's-1950's It has some wear and small scratches and small areas of missing paint. The back has some wear as well and 2 small rust spots( about 1/2 the size of a dime) Please email me if you would like additional pics. 12" x 22.5" The colors are very unusual for this era and type. It is all gold and the flowers are cream dogwood with green stems and leafs. A nice neutral for any decor. It would really go well with Tuscan themes that are so popular now. For your consideration is this vintage 1950-60's Italian Florentine easel and landscape picture by Corot. The gold/gilt and cream easel is 10 1/4" tall and 5" wide. It has a gold medallion at the top. The picture measures 7 3/4" x 5 3/4" The easel has its original metal chain. Both the easel and the picture have the typical distressed finish. Often this is called Hollywood Regency style. The easel is stamped"Made in Italy" underneath the stand. The picture has its original triangular shape hook. This is a beautiful tole painted. Metal serving tray featuring gorgeous flowers and gold scrolls. The tray is large measuring 16.5 inches tall(up and down) by 25 inches(side to side) I sell a lot of tole tv trays and they are usually in more distressed condition. This tray, while not perfect, has only minimal wear to the tray itself-very few and light scratches. Unfortunately the handles have some wear to the outer edges. One has light wear and the other has more paint loss/tarnishing-no rust though. Back side shows a very minor dent and only minimal wear. Please magnify and see all photos. Apologies for the shadows. It says as much in an artists palate on the back in blue, the back shows the most surface wear& scratching from usage and coming in contact with surfaces. Beautiful roses and a double row of twisted metal. Uncertain of age or origin(French? Italian? the woman I acquired it from has had it for at least 20 years but couldn't recall where she got it.
