Vintage Metal Hand Painted Floral on Black Tole Tray Toleware Shabby Cottage
Vintage metal tole tray. Hand painted toleware. Black tray with a floral pattern and goldtone trim. Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! No rust. Back side of tray has scratches. Pretty tray with keyhole handles. All of my items come from a very non smoking home. Vintage Shabby Chic Cottage Yellow wood TOLE TOLEWARE TRAY Description& Details This is a shabby chic wood toleware tray measuring approximately 23 1/2" long and 16 1/4" wide. The floor of the tray is distressed light yellow with bright yellow checked squares. The turned up edge is also bright yellow with cut out handles. It has a shaded red rose in the center with a yellow rose on each side. There is also a red ribbon. Shaded green leaves and a light blue butterfly. The edge of the bottom is gold striped. There is a small hairline split, don`t know if it`s the wood or the paint and the seam where the gold stripe is has separated a bit. Nothing drastic but thought I mention that for accuracy. Pretty metal tole ware shelf with a flower motif. This shelf measures`14" long with a depth of 6 1/2" Someone took a paint brush to this and added a matte off white/ beige color while leaving the flowers mostly white. Vtg Metal Toleware Silent Butler Hand Painted Pink & Yellow Roses Chic Cottage
For your consideration is this Unique Silent Butler or Crumb Catcher. It's made of metal with a rich cream colored background. Lovely hand painted roses adorn the cover in shades of pinks. Yellows, and green leaves. The usual gold tole designs embellish the edges. The shape of the piece has eight sides. And the metal handle curls down at the end.
