Vintage Italian Shabby Gilt Tole Wood Boy/Court Scene Pictures Florentine Chic
This is a set of small Italian vintage wood pictures that my parents bought on one of their many trips to Italy. The pictures have wood frames and are under glass measuring 3 inches round by ½ an inch thick. The frames have nice rich gilt paint with incised accent lines and dots. The back is covered with paper and they are stamped“Made in Italy. They have the original hangers on the backs. They are very dainty and late 18th. century style pieces. They are at least 30 years old and in good condition. The one with the royal court scene has two small spots where the gold paint has worn off on the side of the frame: at 1 o'clock and 4 o'clock. It cannot be seen from the frontal view. The picture with the boy has a small scratch in the paint of about 1/3" at about 10 o'clock(this may be visible from a frontal view) There ... moreare a couple very small holes and/or tears in the paper on the backs of the pictures. Hello and welcome Two Chippy Shabby Chic French Florentine Embossed Wooden Trays. Vintage teal/red and gold Florentine serving trays*great shabby French style*large size measuring 19"inches. Have some wear and paint loss that can be seen in photos. Some small cracks to top surface but does not affect stability. I believe these trays are made from balsa wood. Not marked. Both show signs of wear.These came from an upscale estate sale on the Eastern shore area. The trays measure approx. 19" wide by 1-1/2" tall. By 13-1/2" depth(front to back) Condition: OK vintage condition. They are giddy with a over all shabbiness. There are some scratches, chippy paint, sell as found condition.
