There are no manufacturer's markings on the lamp. But it is solid and weighty. It stands 29" to the point the finial screws on. The shade 14" wide& 4'tall can be loosened and can slide vertically up down. It holds 2 bulbs with standard-size threaded base. There is a filter between just inside the top of the shade and just above the light bulbs. The light turns off and on with a switch on the cord. It is in near-perfect shape. With the exception of the small piece of paint that is under the rim, as noted in one of the pictures. Because of the shape of the bottom. The missing paint is not visible in a standard setting. Pair of 19th Century Toleware Biscuit Tins
Stunning pair of 19th century authentic primitive toleware biscuit tins 10.5″ tall with a hand-painted florals and fruits in a basket painted in tones of red and gold paint or gold leaf(i.e. japanning) on a black enameled background. The pair have hammered hinged lids with round knobs that bolt onto them. Japanning is the European technique of lacquering metalware to imitate traditional Japanese style which was regarded as a beautiful and high art form. There are a few small places where the black enamel lacquer has chipped away. But these areas are located on the sides and do not interfere with the florals nor take away from the beauty of these lovely pieces of history. The pair $350. Vintage Mid Century Black And Gold Toleware Metal Wall Lamp
Up for auction is a nice Vintage Black and Gold Metal Toleware Wall Lamp. The shade has scalloped edging around the bottom of it and gold leaf around the center. There is a light scuff on the shade and a couple of places around the edge that the black paint has been rubbed off. It may have had a gold reticulated piece that went around the top edge but is missing. I have seen others listed that do not have that piece so that is why I am not sure it originally had it or not. The shade measures 7 7/8" across and is 4 1/4" high. It has the key style on and off switch. The sconce part that mounts to the wall has gold leaf pattern on the wall plate. It looks like the gold final has been replace. All the paint to this piece is original. The lamp has been tested and it does work. The chimney is included.

I LOVE the color on this which is sort of an orangey/red. Photos are true to the color. I purchased this at an estate sale last week and it came from a truly lovely home. The can is in nice shape with no splits or breaks or chips. There is of course a little wear to the outside of the can from use and a bit of white residue on the side. All metal with hand-painted roses. It has a metal lid with a glass handle. I’ve seen a few of these over the years. But this is the first one that I ever came across with the original lid. I’ve seen these sold as trash cans and umbrella stands, but the fact that it has a lid tells me that it’s a trash can. It’s in good condition. It has some light surface scratches and marks on the sides. It doesn’t have any dings. Dents or rust. It stands about 23 in. tall to the top of the handle and is about 10 in. wide. Actually, I'm not even sure if it's really Toleware or not but it really is pretty. It is an oval shaped metal container with a tight fitting lid and it has the same pattern on both sides. It measures approximately 11.5" x 14.5" and has some minor surface scratches on the exterior, also light rust on the inside edges. The interior of the container is perfect and is gold tone. Welcome. Up for sale is a Wonderful Antique 19Th Century stenciled toleware tray in very good original untouched condition. There are a couple of surface paint chips. Not bad. The surface finish of the tray is 99% intact and untouched. The cut out handles and rim are rolled. See The Ornamented Tray Reference Book, by Zilla Rider Lea, Page 188, Figure#54 for similar tray. The tray depicts 2 Peacocks on a mound in front of a large castle encircled by flowers, leaves and trees. The border has a fine motif of florals. One of the finest examples that we have sold. They are all in great vintage condition with the exception of one of them. It appears it had a blue stain on it and someone attemted to clean it off leaving scratches. You can see this in the last photo. I did not attempt to clean the blue off. I figured i would leave that up to the buyer wether they would choose to leave it or attempt to clean it. This auction is for a vintage/antique tole ware hand painted metal desk/table lamp. I took photos inside with artificial lighting and natural outdoor lighting. Lamp operates and cord is in excellent condition. Nice green overall color with burnished gold accent painting. Figurative white detail work and red pin striping. Measures 14 inches high and shade is approx. 10 inches diameter. Very nice workmanship. The cord end looks to mid century or earlier. Nice piece, see my condition description above.

Very Pretty vintage mid century modern black& gold Tole Toleware Wall Sconce Lamp Light. I think it has a nice colonial look to it but could work for many different decorating styles. It is metal along with several wood pieces(see in pics) The lamp works great(bulb not included) it is light weight and mounts to the wall. The condition is very nice with a tiny bit of tarnish or chipping. Very nice pretty paint, cord is in great condition as well and turns on off with the switch on the cord. It does not come with a shade, I think a gold shade would look great on this beauty but that is only a suggestion. approx. size is 32 1/2" from the round bottom wall plate to the top of finial.
