Old Vintage Italian Florentine Tray, Beautiful Cherub Print
This is a large old Italian tole Florentine tray that measures 21 ¼ X 13 ¾ inches. The tray has a beautiful large 10X 10 inch cherub print in the center and the cherubs themselves are 8 inches tall. I have had this for a long time. It was damaged when I got it and remains in the same condition as when it was purchased. The top of one corner was broken off and glued back in place, it shows as a very fine line on the front and a rough spot on the side of the edge. The print is original and has worn at the edges. The design on the tray was made to accommodate the print. Even though this old tray has damage it still displays beautifully and makes an excellent background for smaller items. BEAUTIFUL OLD VINTAGE ITALIAN FLORENTINE PROVINCIAL WOOD TABLE PINK GOLD BLUE
We are pleased to offer this beautiful and older Florentine table. This exceptional table is constructed of wood(not plastic) and is hand painted. The table features 4 legs in Provincial style. The top has a raised. Pie crust edge and an ornate painted, traditional, Italian mosaic pattern. The painting has been done with colors of antiqued white, pink, blue and gold. The blue has a hint of lavender. The table appears to possibly have been repainted in some areas at some point. It is quite pretty and very nice. You can see by the underneath photos, that the table has been"hand made" and the wood was not factory cut. The underneath wooden top supports are different in width and more crudely cut than the tables produced a little later. The table is lightweight and sturdy. IT IS MARKED"MADE IN ITALY FOR STRAWBRIDGE& CLOTHIER" A DEPARTMENT STORE NO LONGER AROUND. IT IS MADE OF A SOLID WOOD WITH GOLD AND WHITE TOLEWARE PAINTING ON THE TOP. THERE IS ALSO A GOLD THIN LINE AROUND THE BASE. THE INTERIOR IS LINED WITH GOLD VELVET MATERIAL. IT HAS THE ORIGINAL INSERT WHICH HAS PLACES FOR RINGS. BRACELETS, ETC. IT DOES HAVE A LOCK AS SHOWN IN PHOTO 3 BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY. THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX AND INSERT BOTH ARE COVERED IN A SATIN TYPE OF FABRIC. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS ARE 11 3/4" LONG BY 8" DEEP AND 3 1/2" HIGH. THIS JEWELRY BOX IS QUITE STURDY, WEIGHING APPROXIMATELY 2 3/4 LBS.
