Elegant Unusual Antique Chinese Black& Gold Lacquer Tole Crumber. This would be a beautiful display piece. Larger piece is about 7 3/4 inches at widest point and 5 3/4 inches tall. The rim with the trim is about 1 inch wide at top and tapers to 3/8 inch. The smaller piece is 5 3/8 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall. Both pieces have been used and the is come paint wear on edges. There is also a crack in the larger piece that is about 3/4 inch from bottom and 4 1/2 inches long. Crack does not go all the way across I have never seen a crumber like this one

The primary color is black and the trim. Tops and bottoms of the holders are painted in gold gilt with a tiny flower in the centers. Interestingingly, it appears the artist included their initials of“WB”at the bottom between the two holders. This piece includes the hole for hanging on a wall and is ready for immediate use for any match– old or new! The only point of interest to be made regarding its condition is some minor bending of the trim on the bottom under the right hand holder. It has loss to the gold paint. This Lovely Vintage Black Tole Lamp- punctuated with Golden feature accents- is another beautiful Estate find in great condition. It stands about 20” Tall– measured to the top of its Tole shade as pictured. The Black/Gold Shade has a Bottom Surface Diameter of about 10 ½” and it is about 6” High. The Base Diameter of the Lamp is about 5” As you can see from the pictures. It is in fine working condition. The wiring seems to be good. The Tole Shade sits upon a White Milk Glass Globe. There are two little“screws” that you can loosen to remove it for cleaning or shipping. The White Milk Glass Globe is also in fine condition as is the cream colored interior of the tole shade. I think it is probably a 3-Way Lamp although I only have a regular bulb in it so I cannot say for sure since I don’t have a 3-Way Bulb to try it with. However, when I turn it on, nothing happens on the first turn– the light goes on with the 2 nd turn– there is also a 3 rd turn but nothing happens with the regular bulb that is currently in it. 28"X21" Antique Black Lacquered Flowered Tole Tray
Up for bid is this huge gorgeous antique handled tole ware tray. It is 28" X 21" and has a gloss finish. Gold painted border with flowers in colors of light green. Pale yellow with an orange center and shades of green and brown leaves. Quite unique. Amazing piece. In excellent condition, with a few tiny nicks.This is just one of the many many pieces that were found in an attic of a elderly woman. Age is not known. Could be older. Antique French Black/Gold Tole "Gondola" Candle Sconce - Very Rare
This is a really outstanding- Very rare French Candle Sconce. A beautiful Tole piece in Black with Gold trim- in the shape of a Gondola with a removable Shade. The Sconce is in two pieces. The first piece is Gondola shaped and measures 9 3/4 inches in length- extending from the wall. The second piece is the shade. The shade is 7 3/4 inches in length. When attached to the bottom or Gondola piece- it extends 12 inches from the wall. The piece is in very good condition- the candle holder is very firmly attached to the gondola. The shade has trails of gold foliage around the exterior- and is painted a cream color on the interior. The piece is marked on the back"Made in France" however I was unable to get a good photo. Photos#3 and#12 show the Sconce hanging. This is a really interesting piece. I have had this for many years and have ... moreyet to find anyone who has seen another. I bought this at a Saturday only Antique store in Portland. I fortunately had it in my hand when a local decorator saw it and almost had cardiac arrest that she has just missed it.
