Estate sale find. Three Mid Century teak? wood fish. The two larger ones are trays/serving bowls. The smaller one looks hand carved. These were hanging on the wall in a group. That is how they were using them. So there is a small nail in each one. It really looked good. You could probably take the two larger ones down for a dinner party and serving. This auction is for a 3 tier hand carved teak wood lazy Susan. This item features a beautiful hand carved design around the edges of each tier and is topped by a pineapple with removable stems used for dipping.The height of this item is approximately 26 inches. The lower tier has 4 matching serving bowls one bowl is chipped and is in the photos. The second tier is smaller with 4 smaller matching bowls. The top tier is where the pineapple sits and it is removable with an open place for dips or such. The stalk pieces to the pineapple have some small scuffs but there are none broken. 19.5" Vintage Mid Century Modern Wood Tray Hand Carved Teak, Lots of Patina
Beautifully carved ends and hollowed center reflect handwork of the mid-century modern style. The patina is very nice and the tray is in excellent condition with a few very fine scratches on the bottom of the tray. But could possibly disappear with conditioning or polish. The tray is 1" deep on the sides and the interior of the tray measures 16" long and 9.5" wide with the overall size being 19.5" long including handles, and 10" wide from side to side. Lovely piece. Which was dedicated to the production of commercial woodenware for the food service industry. Sadly Baribocraft ceased production in the 70′s and they are no longer in business.
