3 Antique Italian Florentine Gilt/Tole Fleur de Lis Green&Gold Shelves-RARE-VGC
Offered is a set of three(3) Antique Italian Florentine Fleur de Lis shelves. These shelves belonged to a man I bought a house from and I was told they belonged to his grandfather. The gentlemen I bought these from was about 70 years old then(I didn't ask his actual age. But he was pretty old and had never lived in another house, other than the house I bought from him) Now, this was back in 1990, when I bought the house and I literally fell in love with these shelves and although I was just a novice collector, the previous owner knew he had something special. I had more money than brains, back then, and I paid him whatever it was he wanted for them.I do not recall the actual $ amount, BUT I recall having to go to a bank to acquire the funds. Anyway, I got them and since hubby and I are trying to downsize, these just have to go. They are ... morenot without flaws.There are some scratches/place s missing paint. As shown in the photos but I don't feel any of the mars distract from the overall lovliness of the shelves(that is my opinion) There is a pattern to the top of the shelves. As shown in the photos and one shelf has a pretty good scratch on the shelf top. There is a piece of tape on the back of one of the shelves and that shelf's back sticks out maybe 1/8" or so from the shelf top. It is securely attached and the hanger is also attached to the back, but not to the corner where it belongs.please see photos and be sure to ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Finding three matching shelves from over 100 years ago, probably closer to 150 years ago is rather unusual, if not unheard of.

VINTAGE ANTIQUE GILT GOLD PAINTED SCALLOPED TOLE FRUIT TRAY BOWL BREAD BASKET. This Tole painted Tray/Bowl isin good cosmetic condition. Showing minor signs of age, use, and wear. The piece is nicely decorated with a gold gilt in a Dove& Ivy decor. The bowl has scalloped edges on two sides and measures 11 1/4 inches long x 7 3/4 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches tall. The piece has"Pat. Applied For" impressed in the bottom of the Tin. Minor paint chips missing overall, with signs of surface rust(patina) beneath, surface scratches and other signs of use and wear. GORGEOUS antique vintage elegant cut crystal bowl with saw tooth edge atop a tole gold gilt metal pedestal adorned with three full bloom roses and leaves. Measures 5 5/8" Tall x 6 1/4" Across the top x 3 1/2" Across the bottom metal ring. FRAME: bottom of metal frame has a large leaf design inside a round ring with a stand in the center. The sepals of the rose are turned downward while the rose flower is upright. The leaves and roses are soldered on to the frame. All elegantly covered in gold leaf gilt in a distress pattern. The roses and the leaves cannot be moved. There is a spacer between the frame and the crystal glass bowl. BOWL: crystal bowl has a large starburst pattern on bottom. Saw tooth edge design is on the outer of rim, the inner part of top is smooth, really unique design. The side panels are beautifully done ... morein a round cut pattern with large X designs between the round pattern. Little metal hangtag on the stem of one of the roses reads: ITALY. Displays beautifully. Perfect piece for just about any room in your home. The frame and bowl do separate. Just unscrew the frame from bowl. Going through the many. Many boxes that I inherited, that were stored in an air conditioned storage down here in Florida, I found this beautiful, unique, and very rare accent table that is marked"Made in Italy~Florence" I know this table has been in our family since the 40's in which it was bought used so I am guessing this accent table could be a lot older. This accent table measures 12 1/4" at its widest and 16 1/8" at its tallest. This accent table has four legs attached with steel screws and thumb nuts. Other than a lot of the gilt paint being worn and scratches from use, this accent table does not have any cracks, chips, or gouges whatsoever. VERY NICE! I love this little table, I wish I had the room, and if I were to keep it I would definitely look into restoring the paint by a professional to make this table ... morebrand new again. It is definitely a beautiful old antique that would be worth spending the money on to restore. This accent table is still quite sturdy and very, very decorative with a lot of etched and carved intricate designs on the table top, the side panels, and even the legs. I believe back then that these tables that have the recessed top were also used as a tray when one can easily unscrew the thumb nuts to take the top off. VERY, VERY NICE! So. Here's a chance to pick-up a very old item, a very rare item, a very unique item that was made in Florence, Italy and that is still in very good condition especially for its age at a very low, affordable investment, considering much of the antiques out there are starting to demand a lot of dollars. I am selling these antique vintage bookends. I think they are gold gilt florentine italy. But im not sure. they are wood and 7" tall and 4 1/4" wide. Theyre different pics on each one, one is 2 ladies one sitting and one standing outside in a garden, theres a fountain and a cat sitting ontop of something by a planter with flowers in it, the one standing is reading a letter. The other one theres a woman playing a guitar with her daughter leaning against her reading a book and a dog sitting infront of the woman. they are also in a garden type area, theres planters, roses, and they re by water and what could be a fountain, casue i see water spraying up. Both are in great condition, the fronts i would say excellent, but thereare a couple chips of wook on the front corners and a lot of the gold is off on the backs of them. the pics are ... moregreat, but seems the sealent might be coming off in spots but wonderful pics. couple other chips around edges of tops of them and gold off there too. Have some wear and paint loss that can be seen in photos. Some small cracks to top surface but does not affect stability. I believe these trays are made from balsa wood. Not marked. She was told by the family that this painting was brought over by his mother sometime in the 19 teens or early 1920s when the family came over from Italy. ANTIQUE VTG ITALY GOLD GILT FLORENTINE TOLEWARE PICTURE FRAME MIRRORS LOT of 3 to start a new paragraph use- Featured is a gorgeous three piece lot of vintage Italian toleware Florentine pieces. A picture and two mirrors. All are marked, in some form, Made in Italy or Italia. The round mirror measures approx. 6 1/2"the oval one is 14" x 11 1/2" and the sweet picture, of a girl with her dog, is approx. 13 1/2" x 9" wide. Both mirrors are missing their hooks for hanging(easily found at Walmart or any craft store) and the backing is torn on the oval mirror. Mirrors and glass are in GREAT condition. We believe the gilt gold frames are in very good shape for their age, with some paint loss, here and there, we do not see any chips or cracks. The picture frame has one SMALL spot/indent.nothing major at all. They have a beautiful ... morepatina that only age can give. Please see our pictures as we do consider them part of our description. Antique Toleware Tray Tole Hand Painted Signed Beautiful Floral Basket Gold Gilt
We have for auction this very beautifully hand painted antique toleware tray. It measures 16"w x 14.5"l x 1"h and is made of metal. It is artist signed C.F. Feurer. I have lightly cleaned it but it could be done again if desired. I didn't want to disturb the artwork by removing any paint. It has an art Nouveau look to it. There is gold gilding around the edge with cascading swags and a pretty floral arrangement in the center basket with blue. Lavender, pink and white flowers. It is signed in the green below the basket. This tole tray would be a great addition for any home or collector.

Hello and welcome Gorgeous Florentine Hand Made Italian Embossed Wood Box. The wooden Florentine box has a lovely cream and gold patina. The inside can be used for storing jewelry or trinkets. The lid of the box is flat with a leaf motif with a diamond pattern on all the sides. The entire box measures approx. 9-1/2" wide by 5" tall. By 5-1/2" depth(front to back) The box does show signs of wear. As expected for a vintage find. This looks and feels like wood. I believe it to be made from balsa wood. Not Marked Condition. Looks old, scratches, chippy paint loss, no breaks to the wood. Has aged patina that adds a warm glow to the box. This came from an old Cheasapeake Bay waterfront mansion estate. Fancy-scalloped shape with gilt details to edges. Beautifully painted center features two forget-me-not sprays. 9 3/8" x 6 7/8" Nice. Medium-sized example. Slight bend to 1" of edge only.
