Native Sword and Dagger, Painted Wooden Handles/Scabbards - GI Souvenir?
Native sword and dagger. These came from the estate of a man who served in the 90th Bomb Group, the Jolly Rogers, during WWII. Not sure if he brought these back from the Pacific. There is light rust to blades, scabbard for sword is split, held together by wire at tip, has old scotch tape repairs showing. Overall fair condition. Buyer may return within 14 days in same condition for refund(less postage) if not satisfied.

BRITISH GEO. V WWI MODEL 1897 INFANTRY SWORD w/ @ SCABBARDS, FROG, PLAIN BLADE
This is a British Model 1897 Infantry Officer's Sword. George V cipher, with an absolutely plain, unmarked blade and two scabbards- the metal dress scabbard, and a brown pigskin covered Sam Browne scabbard, as well as a very nice frog, and the remnants of the sword knot. BOTH OF THE SCABBARDS HAVE PROBLEMS: the metal scabbard is missing its throat, and the Sam Browne scabbard is missing the bottom 4 inches. The sword is pretty nice- the hilt is very nice, although it might be a little bit smaller than usual. The blade is interesting as it has no engraving or etching, and not even aa proof plug. It is the common"dumbbell" pattern, but it is also smaller and lighter than usual. I wonder if it could have been intended for a cadet? Condition-wise. The point is rusted for the first 4 inches. The rest of the blade is nice. The hilt ... moreis excellent, and the grip is very nice. The frog shows some deterioration, but is quite nice overall. The sword knot is missing its end. 2 x Antique Moro Barong sword both with scabbards and wootz / damascus blades
Fine pair of antique Moro Barong swords. From the Moro tribes of the Philippines Dating from 1880- 1920. This is a lovely pair of authentic swords still razor sharp, and both exhibiting wonderful'damascus' type patterns in the steel of the imposing and well forged blades, which show a uniform thickness along the spine of about 0.5cm. The larger of the two, with a 17 inch blade and 22 inch total length, shows quality carving to the cockatoo type pommel, and the scabbard mouth. They are both still solid and the blades show no movement or looseness. The scabbard on the smaller barong is fragile and cracked. The pictures speak for themselves. An investment piece. Up for sale we have two Japanese kai gunto scabbards for parts and restoration. Getting rid of extra parts and have enough so these two are going. Both are solid and can be restored. The first has all rayskin, just peeling of outer black layer. The seam split are where hardware overlaps. LOTR Legolas' Fighting Sword Replica Pair With Scabbards GUC
Up for sale is a reproduction pair of Legolas' Fighting Swords. They are solid. Heavy, and in good used condition. There are small rust spots on some parts of the blades(see pics) and the print of the Elvan scrolling on the blades is smeared(a production error) on one side of one blade. I do not know how"authentic" these replicas are as there is no certificate of authenticy, but if you're not up to paying $170 from an official website, this find might be more fun for you. The scabbards are intact and in equally good-but-obviously-not-new condition. We have loved having these in the house for novelty's sake! Feel free to ask questions. PayPal only. WW2 JAPANESE SWORD SCABBARDS ONLY 1935-1945
I have three scabbards pictured here for this auction. I bought these at a World War Two vets estate sale. I do not have the swords for them. So all you will get in this auction is these three scabbards. The wood one has a hairline split at top that goes about 2 inches down and the metal top is loose. There are some nicks and dents on this wood only one. The metal one has wear from use and scratches. The smaller leather covered wood one does not have metal top and has wear on leather also. My research suggest that the wood leather covered one is Japanese Army and the wood only larger one may be missing leather and metal loop. The all metal one is possibly for a dress sword. 1/6 metal Roman Soldier long sword & dagger with scabbards -12" figures - Ignite
This auction is for a 1/6 scale Roman Soldier long sword and dagger with scabbards. Each has a leather strap. The sword and its scabbard is approx. 4 3/4" long. The dagger and its scabbard are approx. 3" long. The items are in unused condition and came directly from the Ignite boxed figure. The blades are made of shiny metal and any color seen on them in the pictures is a result of a reflection. The leather straps on each item were packaged in the boxed set with an small elastic around them. As a result there are some indentations on the leather in spots along the strap. Here is a pair of leather sword scabbards with a brass throat and drag for narrow straight bladed Militia or Fraternal swords from 1850 to 1920. They are 29" overall, brass throat with a button for a frog, brass drag, 1 is a bit wavey and looks like has had a partial break with a black electrical tape repair while the other is a little wavy(looking down the length) but has no breaks(both will be fine when a sword is inside) looks like the throat opening is for a blade that is just under 3/4" wide. 2 French 1877-79 T-back Sword Bayonets w/Matching Scabbards
Hi. You are bidding on a vintage pair of what we believe are French Sword Bayonets. The bayonets are certainly interesting and they display wonderfully. They seem to match the images on worldbayonets.com that I used to research these pieces. These were apparently used on the 11mm. M1874 Gras rifle. The M1874 is a conversion of the M1866 Chassepot by Colonel Basile Gras. The bayonets seem to match the description. They are 25.5 inches without the scabbard and the blade length is approximately 20.75. This pair is in what I would assume are used. But very nice condition. The handles are wood with iron and brass. I don't see any damage to the handles. The blades are nice, but they do show some very light oxidation, especially near the iron on the handle. The flat part of the blades are marked Mre d'Ornes de 1st Etienne Fevrier 1877( 1879 ... moreon the other) the tips are sharp and usable and other than age, I don't see any problems with these pieces. There is some overall light rust and wear, but nothing out of the ordinary for 138 year items. The bayonets have matching serial numbers on the scabbard and muzzle ring piece which should only increase their collectibility. We are not experts. by any means) and if you have information that anything we believe is in error, please let me know so we can correct our mistake. These pieces will come well packed. But they weigh in at over 4 pound for the pair, so shipping will be fairly expensive. Priority will be the only option available. Please e-mail with specific questions before bidding. Orig. WW1 era Japanese RUSSO SWORD & WW2 Type 30 BAYONET w/ Scabbards
For auction are two WW1. WW2 era Japanese edged weapons, with their scabbards. Both are in poor to-fair- cond. in my opinion. First is the WW1 era RUSSO SWORD. As pics. show old wooden handles are completely missing. Number on sword is 113405, with matching# scabbard. Overall length is 35 3/4' with heavy patina blade being 30 3/8' Sword does lock into scabbard with no problems. As pics. show scabbard has seen repair at some time. Looks like some brazing or welding at the very bottom. WW2 type 30 bayonet shows heavy blade patina and pitting on scabbard. Barrel lock is froze up, will not push. Overall length is 20 1/8' with blade being 15 5/8' Wooden handles still tight and intact. Both items came from same estate, so I am sure they have been together for a long time.
