Probably just the main spring however it is sold as found so no returns. As can be seen from the pics the dial is very clean and features a sub second dial. The case is all hallmarked silver and complete with dust cover. The case has a few scratches th the back. The diameter of the dial is 5 cms and the combined weight is 116 grammes. In my opinion to the right person the watch could be made right with some tlc. Or obviously it has some value in solid silver. ~*WoW! STUNNING 16sz HUNTER Elgin Pocket Watch - Beauty
This watch is very old and very nice looking. The case is extremely intricate and shiny. The dial seems to be flawless. Which is amazing for the age. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is that I've got too many watches in the collection at the moment and need to make some room. It has been serviced within the last year and is keeping good time. I'd love to keep it but it has to go. I hope the pictures tell the story adequately. This watch is in exactly the same shape as when I purchased it since it just sat in my display case. Have never had any problems with it or it's operation. The only noticeable thing is that the front cover doesn't exactly"spring" open when you press the stem in. It opens up part of the way and you usually have to open it the rest of the way with your finger. There's no resistance ... moreor anything though. And I'm sure a competent watchmaker or jeweler could get the cover opening properly again. The case itself is 14k Gold filled and is a real beauty. I'm unsure if it's original to the watch. If I understand correctly these watch cases can't be dated since the serial numbers of the cases themselves are lost to history. If you have any further questions please let me know, I'll be glad to answer. The two back covers have the case maker's marks on the inside. First is"Keystone Watch Case" above a crown and a set of scales. Then below that is a serial number. The dust flap of the case says"Guaranteed JBoss14k 20 Years" and then is followed by the same serial number.

Art Deco 1920's Pocket Watch Chain /Fob 10k and 1915, 5 dollar gold coin
13.75 inches long circle clip to swivel end. Marked 10k on the large link to the swivel. Can't find any mark on the coin bezel. Third loop link from the coin needs attention as it will slip the next link when stressed. The whole thing. Chain and coin weighed approx 16g on the food scale I have. He then set up in business as an établisseur, that is, a watch producer who bought the ebauche and all other parts of the watch and assembled them. In 1851 Roskopf became the joint manager of the La Chaux-de-Fonds branch of B. J. Guttman Frères of Wurzburg. They manufactured English-type watches. It is a 1906 Classic face pocket watch by Waltham. Features Roman Numerals in black on white face with'dark steel blue chromed' main hands and black second hand sweep inset dial. Arabic numbers also provide for a 24-hour clock face. Screw back. Case is marked Gold Filled. Back of case shows smooth wear of the original filagree but otherwise is without major wear. Interior of back stamped'Fortune A.W.C. Co" and"Gold Filled" and shows case back serial number 626806. A choice of two, 8-Day War Department watches. Only the one can be purchased in this sale- The second example can be found in seller's other items. It is not working. This pocket watch was supplied to the War Department by Casella ... moreof London. Casella is a renowned jeweller's company) It is of a type that is associated with Royal Flying Corps. But it does not bear the usual Mark V reference or A over/|\ mark. This gives rise to me considering that this watch may have been fitted to an early pre WW1 aircraft, at a time when the WD had control of the fledgling army run air force. This of course was a short lived state, as the RFC was quickly formed from that begining. Cosmetically the case is in good condition with a nice patina. Showing some service wear but no dents. The hinges are firm and the case snaps shut tight, but there is a small amount of resistance when closing the back. The dial has a slight hairline. But is otherwise in good condition. This watch is a non runner as the balance is broken. Otherwise everything else appears to be okay. Hands set and the watch is fully wound. Hand setting is a tad on the stiff side and the watch is fully wound. It has been laying around untouched for many years in my

A silver pair cased pocket watch. With a superb'Speed The Plough' polychrome dial and a fusee verge movement, dating to 1866/7, in good condition but not running, hence sold for repair. The outer case is in good condition. The hinge, spring, catch and button are in good condition and the bezel locks fine, a couple of tiny dints to the bezel. The case is hallmarked for Chester, 1866/7, initials'I.H' for John Harris, case maker, Coventry) The outer case measures 55mm in diameter. The inner case is in good condition. No dints and is hallmarked as per the outer case, Chester, 1866/7, initials'I.H' it is also numbered'792' which matches the movement number. The inner case measures 48mm in diameter. Ignoring the stem. The stem/pendant is in good original condition, no sign of any repair. The polychrome dial is superb ... morehaving a detailed farming picture with the wording'SPEED THE PLOUGH' to the top. The outer chapter ring has one very faint hairline running across the II& III numerals. The bulls-eye glass crystal is in excellent condition. The decorative fusee movement has a verge escapement and is in good overall condition but not working as the balance is loose and does not swing. Hence sold for repair. The movement is numbered'792' matching the case. The movement is key wind and set, no key available. Superb original pocket watch requiring attention.

The Porcelain Dial is signed"Waltham" The Movement is signed"17920557 American Waltham Watch Co. 17 Jewels" The Heavy Silver Metal Case has an Engraved Railroad Locomotive Train Image on the Back. It is in Good Condition with minimal wear from age, and is signed"Dueber Silverine Canton. O 58039" The Watch is Large and is Size 18s,and the Dial has a diameter of approx. 1.766 inches or 44.86 millimeters. The glass is in Overall Good condition, as pictured! This is a Railroad watch which was very important in the Early Days of Trains. Why were accurate watches so important to operating a railroad? Crystal- The crystal is in average vintage condition. Dial- The art deco dial has a stunning fancy center. The overall condition is nice for it's age. View photos. Case- This is by far the nicest Masonic pocket watch case I have owned in over 30 years. I have owned ones that have a light engraving. However this beautiful watch features a multi-colored applied plate. With a carved moon stone face in the center. I was told by my watchmaker the applied plate on the back is gold, however it is not marked. The case is marked Elgin Streamline 14K Gold Filled. The case measures 44mm across. I have not attempted to clean or tamper with this case. Movement- The 17 Jewel Elgin movement ... morehas been running and keeping time for the last 45 minutes. ORIGINAL rare antique pocket watch of the NORTH WEST MOUNTED POLICE. CANADA. It is silverine coloured with Roman numeral lettering and has the N.W.M.P. lettering engraved on the back( which is the same lettering as was used on the Winchester 1886 rifle) It is in used but very good condition and has a flip out lid on the back( and is marked DUEBER SILVERINE inside the lid) and is a rear winder. It is hallmarked NEW HAVEN WATCH CO. The New haven Watch Co. existed from 1880 to 1887. All their first watches where back winders. The New Haven Watch Co. became the Trenton Watch Co. in 1887. The Trenton Watch Co. became the Ingersold- Trenton Watch Co. in 1908. This watch has keys, one for winding and the other to set the time. PLEASE NOTE- From information recieved this watch was worn by STAFF SERGEANT WILLIAM PARKER who is pictured on Page 108 ... moreof James J. Boulton's book.
