Ancient Bronze Roman Animal Dragon Ring found Viking Settlement Baltic Size 8.5
Here is an authentic bronze ring of possible Roman design and origin. The incised pattern of a quadr uped might have been used as a seal in wax. It looks to me as a dragon. This ring was found by a metal detector in an ancient Viking settlement along the Baltic Sea in Latvia. Maybe a trade item brought back from viking travels. The ring is a size 8.25. When one wears ancient bronze rings or bracelets. The natural chemistry of the skin brings out a wonderful lustre to the artefact. Bronze needs to be worn to glow. I have a passion for ancient Viking-era artefacts. I love Baltic amber. For your consideration is a rare piece of Viking history! This pendent depicts two dragons facing each other. Completing the other half of moon! The middle part appears to be an axe.
