This is a really neat lot of 34 antique buckles. Slides. Mostly made of metals with various embellishments, such as moonstone or moonglow glass, cut steels, marcasites, painted, pastes or rhinestones, open work, filigree or twinkle, copper, enamel, etc. The heavy silver colored buckle is marked Royal MMFG Co and 85197.marcasite buckle on bottom is marked Made in France. Sizes range from baby sized to large, last photo shows them with quarter for size reference. Also included two photos of their backs. Some need a good, thorough cleaning, which I have not done-like the large cut steels, some have rust, oxidation, etc. I didn't include any with major flaws that I saw, besides the cleaning. The are in very good condition for their ages but are not perfect. Thank you!

Old Early Vintage Antique 2 Buckles Horse Bridle Harness 2 Rings
This is a neat lot of old harness parts and there are 2 rongs they are about 1 3/4 inches across and 2 1/2 inches across on the outside and the 2 buckles are 2 inches and 2 3/4 inches measured the long way. I dont see any makers mark and they are really good and solid but they are over 100 years old so they have some wear to them and have been used, the bit is a solid bit not a hackamore and the sides are super fancy you can see the photos. This is a beautiful set of vintage straps. And if you collect old spurs you know how hard it is to find the old leather straps that went with them. Here's a chance to get a wonderful, basket weave patterned pair with a mahogany patina. Completely stamped all around the edges as well. They are soft to the touch and pliable in most areas, other than the outer edges. Those may need a little work with a quality leather conditioner. Refinished Dome Top Victorian Steamer Trunk Antique Chest With Straps & Buckles
Nice Refinished Antique Dome Top Steamer Trunk With Straps& Buckles Here is a nice refinished arch top or dome top steamer trunk from around the late 1800's to 1900 or so. We purchased this one already finished by someone else. We didn't really like the way it was when we received it. So we went ahead and finished it out a little bit better. This one has a combination of fancy embossed metal which is in a leaf and flower pattern on the top and front. The rest of the trunk must have been paper which they removed to expose the wood on the sides and the back. The wood appears to be pine and the outer slat boards look like poplar. Here are the trunk's dimensions: from left to right across the front is 32 inches. From floor to top is approximately 20 inches, and from front edge to back edge is 17 inches. The front latches were ... moremissing on this trunk, so we put a pair of Amish made leather straps with roller buckles up the front and across the top where the latches should have been. These straps with buckles hold the top secure to it's base when buckled as would the latches if they were there. The wood appears to be finished with a couple of coats of clearcoat. The metal has been painted in a couple of different colors. The fancy metal looks like a silverish color while the cap metal on the slat boards have been done up in gold leaf, and the flat metal is in black. The lock looks to be original. It is not in working condition because the top part that goes into the lock mechanism is missing the engagement part. The lock probably works, but it will not fasten to anything since the top part is missing that engagement part. We did receive this trunk pretty much the way it is and simply gave it some improvement. The side handles were not on it, so we have put on a pair of Amish made black leather stitched straps. Going to the interior, the paper lining has been removed and the wood has been finished with two coats of polyurethane. The bottom has been covered over with a new bottom which has been fastened

Pair of Antique Early 1900s? Belt Buckles Solid-Diriold + SFD-BRZ?
Two old belt buckles. Found in a lot of old 1930s era sewing things. One reads"Slid-Diriold" the other is signed but barely readable. Looks like"SFD-BRZ" If I had to guess I'd say they were brass or bronze, but I really don't have a clue. Both measure 1 3/4" long, just over 1" height.
