Vintage signed Mary Ryan toleware painted small oval metal basket; floral motif
This is a once- treasured vintage. Signed"Mary Ryan" small oval metal tole painted basket with two flowers- yellow/gold and pink/rose- and leaves in the front. The colors change in tone with the light. The first picture is most true to color, although it is a bit faded by bright light. The basket is 7-inches long by 4 3/4-inches high, by 4 1/4-inches deep in the middle. It has gold gilt trim on the top and bottom edges, and a gold stamp on the bottom. The stamp is worn, but"Mary Ryan" can be read. The four rounded protruding"feet" on the bottom have wear to the paint. There is a 2 3/4-inch long scratch line on the lower back, some small areas of black paint penetration,some loss of color on the gold gilt trim, especially on the bottom rim, some wear on the bottom inside and a 1/2-inch long scratch along the edge ... moreof one petal on the rose. To me, the basket has charm. Please look at the photos to judge for yourself its condition.

Large Toleware Tray with Mother of Pearl Inlay Signed- Hoo or Hood. This is a fabulous toleware tray! The tray is hand painted with colorful flowers. Foliage and two large birds. There is plenty of mother of pearl on this tray as well. I've never seen one so heavily decorated. The mop is found on the top and bottom edges and also used as part of the birds feathers and flower petals. It's absolutely HUGE and heavy. It measures 25 1/4" x 20 3/4" and weighs just under four pounds. There is some chipping on the tray. It's primarily on the back but it's also on the edges and a few places on the face of the tray. Antique Signed Tole Painted Floral Picture Gesso Frame
This is just a great looked floral painted picture the pictures I've taken will never do it justice. Hand painted on artist type board and signed Adams it's 15 1/2 in. across. The frame and background color are a pale yellow color and the bowl of flowers are done in reds.Greens,yellows,blacks and browns. The frame is accent with four bands of gesso roses that are accented in gold. The back is still the original old brown backing paper that has the old NPA Code sticker that was in use I believe from the early 1900s until the early 1940s it has 12- 12 which I believe dates this as being framed in Dec. of 1912. The only defect is some very light brown spot staining on the left side of the picture that disapears at 3 feet away and might wipe off with water,but I'll leave that to the new owner to try and the brown backing paper is ... moresplitting around the backside of the frame. She lived in the early 1900s and was a farm type artist and I have some items coming up in future sales of just some great early items she has done to add to your decor. We have for auction this very beautifully hand painted antique toleware tray. It measures 16"w x 14.5"l x 1"h and is made of metal. It is artist signed C.F. Feurer. I have lightly cleaned it but it could be done again if desired. I didn't want to disturb the artwork by removing any paint. It has an art Nouveau look to it. Auction is for a tole painted tray that measures approx 20 x 15 inches. We have tried to figure out how we could use this in our kitchen and have finally just decided it is not gonna work. We love the colors. It is handpainted and almost has a 3-D look. The colors are so rich and the painting is perfect. Signed Francis on lower right. It has the original sticker on the back. This is a great Nashco Toleware piece with a beautiful fruit and floral motif signed by"Francis" It was found at a sale where the owner stated it was given to her over 40 years ago for a wedding gift; so. It is definitely a vintage piece. The Nashco sticker is partially in place. This tray would look great in many types of display arrangements!
