Lovely old toleware painted green box with roses and daisies. Photos show top. Front, sides(one side shown since they are both painted the same) back and bottom. Measures 16 in wide x 12 in deep x 8 1/4 in ht. Wall paper type lining inside. The brass clasp is broken(see it loose inside the box in photo) Box is signed by artist, D. Barclay" So many possible uses for storing accessories, photos, etc. I used it for a number of years to store my vintage scarf and hat ribbons collection. Condition is as you see it in photos. Vintage Nashco white hand-painted Tole tray-artist signed-Roses in gold, bronze
This is a beautiful vintage Nashco Tole Tray hand-painted in neutrals that would look right at home in today's decor. The roses are painted in shades of gold. Bronze, white, cream, and taupe. There are stray marks here and there that can be seen in pictures#5 and#6. Pictures 3 and 4 show 2 spots where the paint is missing from the rim. The back has wear, but the front is in surprisingly good condition. Signed by Artist- Van. Silver Nashco label on back that says Nashco Products, New York. The tray is rather large, and measures 17" x 14-1/2" with a pretty wavy/scalloped edge trimmed in gold.
