Up for bid is this Mid Century Original Toleware Sconce Wall Lamp! It is done in mustard yellow with dark brown or black trim. Not sure which. The lamp and shade are in excellent condition. The Base measures 4-7/8" diameter. The Shade is 7" in diameter and the lamp without the shade extends 7" from the wall. It comes with o riginal parts with intact cord and non-polarized plug. In picture 10 you can see the the white casing has a tiny space between the metal base and the white casing. This could be normal or it could need some adjustment. The white plastic casing has a tiny crack in it that I could not get a picture of under the switch. It is so minor but just wanted to mention it. Offered is a lovely vintage Italian Tole sconce with lovely roses and a muted creamy finish over gold; these are hard to find and perfect for over a bed or a mirror and was a featured piece in one of Rachel Ashwell's books; this one has the wiring removed and was used for candles but you could easily wire it for lighting. the estate I purchased it from had it screwed in the wall. But you could easily hang it by wrapping a wire around the top base. A very special piece. Without the candles it measures 36 inches across, about 10 inches high and projects about 9 inches from the wall.
