Accented with leaves and foliage as well assome purple colored unopened flowers. Surrounding this beauty is an encompassing gold painted pattern. Along the outer rim is a deep royal blue wispping pattern that too surrounds the entire tray. Stands at 7& 7/8” Wide from corner to corner and 5& 13/16” from side to side. This beautiful plate has a lack background with a floral picture in the middle and scroll designs around the sides. Near the picture is written Koctehko. It is in very good condition. But has some light scratches that can be seen when tilted under the light, and some slight wear mainly on the back. On the back there is a mark that looks like a tulip. I don’t know it’s age. I use mainly USPS for shipping. But will always check the rates with Fed-ex when dealing with a large or very heavy package. I will also check the different methods of Priority Mail shipping such as using the Flat Rate boxes or the Regional Priority Mail boxes to see if there is a more economical shipping rate available to the buyer depending on the location. I do sometimes use previously used boxes& packing materials. But never risk possible damage to the item being shipped. I always wrap breakable items in a layer of plain wrapping paper& bubble wrap before placing them in a sturdy box with plenty of Styrofoam peanuts. This week we have this gorgeous vintage. Artist signed Tole tray. This piece is very skillfully done with vibrant hand painted colors.the pictures do not do this piece justice. I believe the piece dates to the 1930's(according to the information from the estate) It is a nice heavy metal. The piede does have some light scratching to the back as you can see in the photos.
