But if you adore timeworn textile treasures these tassels are simply divine and a perfect finishing touch for a timeworn faded grandeur project. They are French and will date to C1860 they are made of gold metal thread that has taken on a wonderful gold gold patina, the ball shaped finials are lined with a bright gold mica like meterial that really shines and catches the light, I have tried to show you this in my photographs but sadly not very sucessfully. The tassels are distressed as you will see in my photographs, if laid out in one long rope it would measure maximum approx 50" or 1m27, each tassel is approx 5.5" or 14cms. Unusually this tie back has a double tassel- perfect for extra sumptuous chateau curtains! Double loops which pass through a large knot. Making the length of the loops and the tassel drop adjustable. This tie back is made from twisted rope which is knotted twice before ending in a tassel. The colours in the rope are: string colour. Purple, coral, green, and olive. Hand made. Vintage bit with copper dog bone. 5" mouthpiece and 6" shank. Bit is vintage used no breaks or issues making it unusable. Soft, black rope reins with rawhide and horse hair tassels. The reins each measure 102" including the leather waterloop and tassel. Reins are used but in nice usable condition, no breaks or tears. Rawhide braiding is in good condition. Non smoking home.

Unusually this tie back has a double tassel- perfect for extra sumptuous chateau curtains! Double loops which pass through a large knot. Making the length of the loops and the tassel drop adjustable. This tie back is made from twisted rope which is knotted twice before ending in a tassel. The colours in the rope are: string colour. Red, burgundy, and olive. Dimensions: Length 11" or 28cm for each loop to the knot and 19" or 49cm from the knot to the end of each tassel. Making the overall length to be 32" or 81cm Condition: This is a little dusty. I have 5 identical gold heavy satin rope cord tasseled curtain or drapery tie backs. THIS IS FOR ONE TIE BACK. You may purchase as many as you like up to 5. But the BIN price is for each individual tie back. The tassel portion is 6" long with 1/8" twisted tassels. The tie backs are a total of 26" length. The cord is 1/2" diameter.
