This is a beautiful mirror that came from an ... moreestate sale. This is a very vibrant red mirror with chinoiserie decorations and gilt accents. It is a very beautiful color and size. I don't think the mirror has the orginal backing and don't know if it has the original mirror. If you do some research it looks like they had a cloth backing over the wood. It does have the wire on the back for hanging.There are some small areas that are marked up but overall the mirror is in nice condition for its age.There are 2 metal brackets on the wood frame which you can see in the pictures of the back of the mirror. I would assume these might be so you can replace the mirror if it ever became damaged or broke. I didn't do anything to this item. It is in the condition I bought it in. You can clean it to your liking. The measurements on the mirror are 57 X 28 1/4. Add this beautiful antique mirror to you place for a statement piece over your mantel. I am only offering local pickup for this piece but if you want it shipped you would have to make the arrangements through a company and pay the shipping yourself and I would work with you on having them pick it up. This pair of Florentine gold gilt hand painted Wood Trays was purchased by our donors during a trip to Italy in the 1970s. Both trays have beautiful carved and painted details in red and gold. The small tray has pale blue accents and the large tray has black accents. NOTE: Photos 2 thru 6 are of the Small tray; Photos 7 thru 11 are of the Large tray. The back of the small tray has a beautiful cross-hatch floral pattern. The back of the large tray is etched in a Scallop pattern. The small measures 7-3/4 inch es in diameter and the large tray tray measures 15-1/2 inches. Both trays have a 3/4 inch tall rim. The small tray is in EXCELLENT condition; the large tray has a few scratches. Chest is not marked Italy. Adorable Florentine gold gilt toleware piece. Unfortunately the piece is missing the drawer knobs and has a few nicks in the finish. I hesitated on listing considering the problems. But felt someone may still be interested. Chest measures 7 1/8" inches in height and has a diameter of 6 7/8" inches. Deep red. Gold, and a few emerald green accent areas. Piece is not marked, origin unknown.

This is a good looking large vintage gilt wood tray from Italy. The sticker on the reverse says"Golden Crown E&R Italy" with the image of a crown. It's about 15"W and 13"deep and is very ornate in red and gold. Use the zoom tool to explore it. These trays are not washable due to the thin layer of plaster under the gilt and paint and therefore they can get pretty beat up looking. But this one hides its age well.
