The shaped rim of the tray is ornamented with a band of pierced decorated. Bright cut engraved corn husk decoration and applied gadroon decoration. This Victorian tray is fitted with shaped inset handles. Three nice toleware pieces. First I just LOVE this gorgeous vintage tole tray! Made of heavy gold metal with a cut-out patterned edge that resembles lace. Not the normal pink roses you find in toleware but a more sophisticated color pallet this tray has been hand painted in beautiful shades of ivory. Moss green& dark green with accents of black. In good vintage condition with some scuffs. Scratches& marks but no dents. The paint is wonderfully chippy and chic with nice wear spots. Label on back reads: Nashco Products Hand Painted. Chip and Alcohol Resistant, L.T. Nash Co. New York" Measures 1 foot in diameter. Next is a vintage tole painted metal trash can is oh so shabby and chic! Vintage Rectangular Hand Painted Tin Tray ND880
Very pretty 12" x 17" tole tray. The design is done in gold powders and gold leaf highlighted in umber and etched to define the flower petals. The work is reasonably well-skilled and done by M.B. in 1954 as indicated in the signature on the reverse. It shows some signs of use: scratches on the back. Two small areas of paint loss on the rim one of 1/4" x 1/16" and one 1/2" x 1/8" There is a rough mark on the floor of the tray just above the large flower which can be seen in photo#3 and a tiny dent with no paint loss that appears as a gray dot on photo#3 to the right above the leaf spray. you wouldn't have to be too talented to touch up the Rose. but I didn't want to do that just not appropriate. I do know that Ethan Allen sold Tole Ware items but cannot say this is from there. it does have whats left of a silver foil sticker on back side but it is not readable. Tray is 15" x 20" and has cutout sides. there are scratches on bottom side that are noticeable in certain lighting and a few spots on front side which I have photographed. Refer to photos 3 4& 6. still a very presentable pretty tray.

Gorgeous Toleware Tray 10-1/4x22-1/4" This listing is for a gorgeous toleware tray with handpainted flowers. Tray is black with assorted color flowers and green leaves. Measures approximately 10-1/4x22-1/2" and has lace like openings around the sides with two opening handles. Tray is in good condition(does have minor imperfections but nothing noticeable) Was bought at an antique estate auction so believed to be quite old. Would look wonderful anywhere in your home.
