Vintage Hand Painted Pink Roses Metal Tole Trash Waste Basket Can NASHCO w/Labe
Vintage(Probably 1950's) hand painted waste basket by NASHCO PRODUCTS of New York. In excellent condition. Very clean and wit out dents. Paper label still on the bottom. Gold paint is still on the top rolled rim and on the pattern on the back as shown in picture 2. The painting on the front looks just painted with a pink rose and perhaps violets or wisteria or lilac and maybe a yellow rose. The inside is perfectly clean. There is one barely visible scuff pictured in pic 6. The paint is still there but there is a slight scuff. The bottom has very slight speck size paint loss in spots. Measurements are 13" tall X 10 1/4" wide X 7 1/4" deep. Very nice reticulated or pierced decoration around the top. The color is a cream with pinkish tint. S&H will be calculated. Vintage Toleware ? Metal Garbage Waste Can Basket Pink Roses Blue Turquoise
Here is a vintage metal garbage can in a turquoise blue. The can features a vase of roses. The flowers are not painted on but instead it is like a picture printed on the metal. There are some dents in the can as well as some rust spots(see pics) Inside. Along the bottom is rust but overall the can is very usable and very pretty and has a lot of life left in it yet. This waste basket is a real beauty and is in very good to excellent condition given that it is probably about 80 years old. It is 12" high and the inside top measures 8" X 12" The bottom measures 8" X 9" It has a very graceful shape ending at the top with rolled edges. It is metal. Tin I think, and is nicely hand painted. The painting is in very good condition with only a couple of tiny scratches to the design. There is gold paint, it appears almost as an afterthought, randomly around the edges. There is some minimal scratching and smudging but the photos make it look worse than it actually is. There is very slight surface rust in the crevices on the exterior bottom and along the edges of the interior bottom. This is an estate piece being sold as described as is. Great vintage Ransburg tole painted metal waste basket with wooden ball feet. The feet and the filigree edge are painted gold metallic with about half the paint worn away. The body of the basket is an off white with gold flowers. Brown leaves and burnt red/burgundy colored roses. The bottom has minor dents with interior rust spots. There are additional tiny rust spots as shown on the front of the can mostly above the painting. Toleware waste basket trash can pail hand-painted with roses. Metal maroon red- This is quite old and would not be itself without a little rust, especially on the inside. I have provided pictures so you can see that the rust is limited and has limited impact on the overall appearance of the piece. All of the rust is surface in nature and does not go through the metal or affect the strength of the can. The item is just over 12 inches high. 7.5 inches wide, and weighs just over a pound. Since it is very sturdy. Excessive packaging will not be necessary, so the shipping price I am quoting assumes total weight will be two pounds or less. I ship in the U.S. only so no international transactions, please.
