Pair of vintage gold toned metal candle holders with crystal prisms. They show deterioration on metal surfaces. But there are no cracks or splits. One of the holders has some bent leaves(or flowers) but no broken places. All the prisms are there and in good shape. They each have a small metal tag that says made in Italy. Old French Tole Flowers Daisies Metal Chippy Petals Leaves Wall Towel Primitive
This is a fabulous old French tole double hook kitchen towel or linens holder. With beautiful yellow daisies with orange centers, and dark green leaves. This wonderful old antique linen/ hand towel rack has two curved hooks with ball finials. It is in outstanding condition with no repairs, and very little loss of color, there is some mild surface rust as I show. The daisies each have 16 petals with no bends or breaks, and each daisy has a bright orange raised/ dimpled center. Overall measurements are 6.5” wide x 7.5” high, the front hooks protrude about 1.5” out, and there are two“keyhole” type hooks on the backside for hanging on the wall. The colorful paint is all original, it has a few chippy areas as expected, but there are no repairs or missing bits. Auction is for a lovely vintage wall basket done in the Italian Tole manner. There is no label on this. But I truly believe this is of Italian manufacture. Lovely tole three-dimensional flowers grace the front of the rope style wire basket and a bouquet of flowers is on the back edge as well. Basket is extremely well made and the wound rope design encompasses the entire basket with a lattice look to the back and bottom of basket. Please make sure to take a close look at all photos I have put up to show the excellent vintage condition. As far as imperfections on this beautiful piece, there are two tiny yellow flowers(front left of basket) that have a few paint chips(see pic) Basket has a secure metal hanging ring at top. PAIR of Vintage Italian Gilt Metal Wall Sconces w/ Porcelain Flowers + Candles
Offered is a pair of authentic vintage Italian tole or toleware wall sconces that most likely date to 1920-1940. The metal is covered in gold gilt which has worn away in many areas. Contributing to the shabby chic"chippy" look of these two beauties. The sconces are NOT electrified. They are adorned with gorgeous porcelain flowers in shades of lavender. Pink, and yellow. I don't know what kind of metal this is but a magnet does stick to it. The back of each sconce is stamped ITALY on a single leaf(see photo#3) Each sconce measures approx. 15" high x 11-1/2" wide at the lower widest point x 4-1/2" deep from the wall. They are heavy weighing more than 1-1/2 lbs each. There is round original metal hanger on the back of each for easy hanging(see photo#7) Each sconce has two candle cups that are shaped to resemble opening ... moreflower buds with leaves. Lovely! I took photos to show you what the sconces look like with and without candles. You will receive the 4 candles pictured in the photo: I think these are in great vintage condition. In addition to some gilt loss.
