You are bidding on a vintage Italian tole lamp with flowers and a night light in the base. The lamp is unmarked. But I am certain it is Italian as I have been a long time collector of Italian tole lighting. It is post 1940. Lamp is predominantly yellow. The flowers and leaves are white; the flower centers are yellow. The base is remarkable for paint loss on its frontside. Notice the warm-toned light of the base. Lamp appears to have its original wiring and works perfectly. Always recommend that you consider updating the electrical parts on these vintage pieces. Vintage Green & Black Tole Lamp/ Light/Sconce
This item is a vintage tole wall lamp. The shade is green with a black design. The ball on the base is ceramic and has a floral design on each side. I'm not sure if the shade and base actually go together. But this is the way I found it. It is in excellent condition. There are a few surface rust spots on the metal shade, but I cleaned it up and you can barely notice them. Very nice and unusual wall sconce. The one pic shows a couple of minor scratches on the one shade. I'm sure it can be touched up or it's really not that bad. The green on the base of the light is a plate. So if you wanted to change the color, it can be taken off and repainted easy. If you want that whole part to be brass, you can leave it off. This beauty is made of Porcelain or Ceramic with a Italian Florentine Crown the insets are Art Glass Shards the edges are scalloped with hand painted fruit around all edges the only problem is a crack near one bottom edge-please see pictures for close up it measures 11 inches tall has a diameter of 14 inches chain is 25 inches long has the ceiling cap it you don't take up the chain it will hang 36 inches. An antique mustard yellow& hand painted toleware hanging wall lamp with original metal shades. Note the original matching shade. Decorative gold bands and Leviton bakelite on/off switch. Dates to the 1930’s– 40’s. Switch, socket, cord and plug are in good working condition. Other lamps, lamp parts, shades and globes are available by viewing my complete auction listings. Measures a full 11 1/2 inches tall. The original shade measures 5 inches tall. 3 7/8 inch top diameter and 5 7/8 inch bottom diameter. The back plate measures 5 inches in diameter. Condition great as there are NO dents. Rust, pitting, cracks, broken, missing or repaired parts present. There are very minor scratches present to some of the high point areas. Lamp is clean and good working condition, save for the yellowed socket sleeve. We accept PayPal. Visa and Master Card ... morepayments for shipping purchases. Local pickup is allowed.
