Two ITALIAN TOLE CANDLEHOLDERS W/ COLORED BIRD AND STRAWBERRIES ITALY
For your consideration are two Italian tole candleholders. Each with one bird eating a strawberry, other strawberries and green leaves. One of the birds is darker than the other and the strawberries on that candleholder are more golden in color than on the other one. The"branches" are also lighter on one than the other. There is a fair amount of candlewax residue on the lighter one. I think it adds to the overall look) Each is about 7" tall and 9 1/2" wide. Each holds two 1" in diameter candles. They are in good vintage condition with some loss of paint on the lighter candleholder's"petals" Italy is stamped into one candleholder"cup" on each one. I am not sure of their age.
