Handle slot in center with 2 separate compartments for magazines. No markings on the piece as to the maker or age. There are some imperfections in the piece. One of the scroll feet on the bottom has wear. One of the bottom rails has a broken piece which has been taped from underneath some time ago. There is also some scuffs and chippy paint. The tray is decorated with in a gold and white color. The tray is not marked anywhere. I do not know for sure what the country of origin is or what the country of manufacture is. I do not know the age of this piece. It appears to have some age and use to it. The tray is in good condition. The handles has some loss of the gold and some white on the edge. This lamp looks like it is from the 1970s, so you might want to replace the cord and socket, will leave up to winning bidder, or buyer. Note, the lamp is made of carved wood, and has some repairs done to it. You can see them in the photos. Really, they are hard to see when lamp is in use, some would say goes with the patina, and this is really part of beauty of these older distressed works of art. Vintage Gilt Tole Hook with White Porcelain Lilies and Gilt Metal Roses Unusual!
For auction is this sweet vintage wall hook with gilt leaves and roses. Which is also adorned with 2 white porcelain lilies with metal stamens. It measures a large 10 1/4" long and is about 8" across at its widest point. It is in good vintage condition with some loss of gilt to the metal, but nothing objectionable. This hook has some weight to it, and is well-made. Although there is no tag on it, I think that it is either Italian or French. An unusual, beautiful piece of tole that is functional, too!
