Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! Romantic TOLE TRAY VINTAGE CHIC Warm Yellow Pink White COTTAGE HAND PAINTED
I brought this Tole Tray back from France. In 1982( when you could take as much onto the plane as you could carry& did we! It's not been used since I had it. Always a piece that brightened up the top of the Hoosier in the Kitchen. I found it in a small town called St. Malo in Brittany on the Northern Coast. The town is well known to be a get-away for the Anglo's meaning the piece could either be French or English. It's definitely got some age to it. Probably 1930's(perhaps earlier? The base color is a soft warm yellow& it's got painted pink/white flowers with green leaves and green/yellowish-gold scroll here n' there for decoration. A generous 23" x 16 1/2" Octagon Shape w/ nice open handles. NOT BENT& NOT a Flimsy Piece. A quality tin piece. Hand Painted Victorian Painting On Tin English Stone Cottage Landscape
On a recent house call in Woodstock. NY. Out of a Classic Victorian gingerbread home come this lovely Victorian era(1870s) landscape painting on Tin. Unique in the fact that it's shaped metal work boasting gilded scrollwork accents please refer to photos. Can be hung or used flat as a decorative piece. Painting is well done, Fine details. Measures 12 by 12 inches Overall condition as found shows signs of age and wear as is expected with a true antique. Depicting a lovely English cottage Street view early stone cottage. is quite fine and hand painted. Of course shows signs of age as one would expect for being about 100 years old. Would be a great addition to add to any fine country home or shop inventory. I do not see a signature but clearly painted by a professional hand. A true find of Victorian Fainerry. Huge 26" Vintage Nashco Toleware Tray Hand Painted By Fred Austin Shabby Cottage
This gorgeous vintage toleware tray is hand-painted and signed by Fred Austin. A beautiful multicolored floral painting is framed by gold toned paint trim designs on a black background. The sides of the tray are pierced in a lattice pattern. It measures 26 1/2" by 18 1/2" by 1 5/8" and weights 4 lbs 10 oz before packing. It is in overall very good vintage condition for age ~ no dings or dents. There is some rust on the bottom.the gold trim paint is a little worn in a few places around top edge. Other than that, just minor signs of use and wear. Perfect for shabby chic/ cottage chic decor. Please look at all pictures and request more.
