I did wire the sconce in and it works– however– the socket on the left is very loose and definitely needs some work or replacement. The wiring looks like it was replaced at one time. ANTIQUE HAND-PAINTED TOLEWARE METAL TRAY w/ CAST METAL HANDLE
This is a very old piece of Toleware. I do not know its origin. It reminds me of Russian or Eastern European in design) It has some wear and some pitting and people have touched up the paint through the years-it seems. The cast handle has very nice detail. It is hinged and will stand up or lay down as desired. The painted detail has imperfections. But is charming. The piece measures 8 1/4" X 8 1/4" and the handle stands a little over 5 1/2" A very nice old piece. Please look at all pictures for details and condition.

Assuming this is Italian and what they refer to as toleware. Metal roses in metal vase. The vase feels a bit like cast iron/metal but isn't extremely heavy. Flowers are permanent in the vase. Best Salvaged Vintage Cottage Chic Chippy Corroded Cast Metal Bird Bath
Stunning salvage find! Vintage birdbath made from cast metal- fairly thin and light for its size. I have brushed some dirt off. But will leave further cleaning to the next owners liking. A couple of breaks on the"pie crust" rim, lots of corrosion build-up, and just a bit of the original blue paint. I think it is perfection the way it is!
