A beautiful huge triptych depicting Mother Mary with Angels. In gold gilt. This one is the rare larger size of 18 1/2 inches wide when fully displayed by 15 inches tall. Made with the vintage wire hinges and in excellent condition except for a very few age ware chips and scratches, that could be touched up. But I don't fix or repair any of my vintage items as I like the original patina and believe it only adds to the character of the piece! We have been collecting these for many years and this is the biggest one I've ever seen! Pair of rare one of a kind 18th C. fabulous antique Italian wall sconces candelabras Each holds four taper candles Gold gilt carved wood parcel painted Metal tole candle holders Each measures approx 40.5" high The fruit top is two parts that were put together so there is a seem. There has been some aged wear/damage over the years. There have been some breakage of some of the leaves. At some point in time someone touched up the gold gilt on the edges of the broken leaves. I personally don't think that it in any way takes away from the beauty of these pieces. I did not even notice the damage when I acquired them until I inspected them thoroughly prior to listing them. Coral Paint& Gilt JEWELRY BOX VINTAGE FLORENTINE JEWELRY BOX Lovely vintage carved wood Florentine jewelry box measuring 5-1/2" long. 4-1/2" wide and 2-1/2" tall. Standing on four carved feet, edges are softly scalloped as is the skirt- top is beautifully decorated in a geometric pattern heavily accented with gilding and coral painted accents. Complete with key port but no key, hinged lid has a tight seal and opens to reveal a cream painted interior. Condition is very nice with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage- light age related usage wear. Pr Antique Carved Wood Gilt Flower Basket Architectural Fragment Salvage Bookend
Baskets o' Gold A wonderful pair of antique carved wood flower baskets. Which I believe were originally architectural ornaments, perhaps for a large mirror or frame. They are essentially a matched pair, each hand-carved of solid wood and gilded. Each basket is nearly a half round, and the carving is done in high relief and nice detail. I believe they're French but also could be Italian. There are marks and holes where a mounting bracket once was attached on the back. Somewhat distressed with small breakages. Wear and touch-ups, but so charming for it. They make a great pair of bookends with old-world style. 9 3/4" wide. 6 3/4" high, 3 1/2" deep Some breakage.
