Here is a vintage metal garbage can in a turquoise blue. The can features a vase of roses. The flowers are not painted on but instead it is like a picture printed on the metal. This is a wonderful antique set of spice tins. They are true antiques not reproductions. They were made by the"Metal Package Corp New York" and each is stamped to the bottom. They have the look of Delft with blue windmills and also sailboats on alternating sides. There are allspice. Cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and pepper. Each tin measures 3.25 inches tall and 2.5x2.5 inches. They do have lots of paint wear but really it just makes them all the more charming. A great estate find. This is a charming black metal tole toleware hand-painted tissue box. It is in VERY GOOD vintage condition and features a couple of ivory blooms(one is a rose) with blue leaves and blue undertones on the lid/cover. The base is all black and features two holes on the back for ease of hanging on a wall although I have never hung any of the tole tissue boxes I have owned. I just put them on a flat surface. The box measures 10-1/2 inches long. 4-1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The top slides off for ease of filling with tissues. But it was obviously loved and well-used by previous owner(s) It is quite sturdy. The flowers are pink. Cream, and blue. I am by no means a botanist but here is what I think they are: a pink rose, a white magnolia, blue and pink butterfly-bush, and white snowdrops with golden-yellow centers. I am open to all corrections, just trying to give you an idea of the designs. There is a pale blue ribbon that is looped several times around the flower stems. Description This auction is for an oh-so-wonderful. Vintage metal toleware lamp shade in the most wonderful shade of pale blue with gold accenting. The color is a pale, Colonial blue which is very difficult to photograph; hopefully, it appears, as so, on your computer. The shade measures approximately 5 1/2" tall x 12" across the bottom and 5 5/8" across the open top; the inside indention just below the top opening is approximately 6 1/8" across. This shade is in very nice condition, particularly on the outside surface. Please look at all of my photos, as I see only one spot where paint is missing in the main section of the blue surface. There is also some paint loss to the gold edging along the top(see photos) but overall this shade is in very nice condition. Tole Painted Pitcher 8 1/2" high on metal w/ pink roses blue bow on brown
This pretty metal pitcher with a vintage look is about 8 1/2 inches high. 5 1/2 inches wide plus 1 3/4 inch spout, 1 3/4 inch handle and the pitcher is 1 3/4 inches front to back. It has a pink rose and rose bud with a blue bow painted on a chocolate brown background.
