This old very heavy can looks to be maybe a coffee or lard can from the early 1900s or earlier; that’s just my opinion. This can appears to have been hand cut by either scissor type tool or knife; possibly a black smith; its imprinted/embossed Tulips painted with gorgeous vivid red. Blue& green colors. You really have to look for the handmade seam on the inside or outside of the can; also the bottom is completely flat; and looks to have been hand rolled or hammered around the edge of the can that’s tapered outward; there is no seam in the bottom of this can; just a smooth flat surface. I’m ... moreguessing there is a very real possibility this is lead paint on the can. It measures 5 ¼”x 5 3/8” the bottom is 5 5/8” across; the bottom and the inside at one time was painted black. This is a vintage item so there are small flaws; like the inside bottom is showing some rust; I have found only a couple of small scratches in the paint. For the age of this can it has been preserved nicely. This item is just very unique; someone had to take a lot of time cutting. Soldering, hammering, embossing and finally painting these beautiful tulips. Large & Beautiful Antique Hand Painted Toleware Bowl ~ Pennsylvania Dutch
Here is a beautiful antique. Pennsylvania Dutch, hand-painted, toleware bowl or basin, with a great motif of stylized flowers with leaf y stems. Both inside and out. The decoration goes all the way around the bowl and has great color and style. This bowl has a great rolled rim. And it measures 16" in diameter on top. 11" in diameter on the bottom, and is 5 1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition, although slightly out of skew. There is no rust on this piece, although there is gentle edge wear consistent with being antique. The bowl is made of five pieces of heavy-gauge tin or steel all welded to gether. We have for auction this very beautifully hand painted antique toleware tray. It measures 16"w x 14.5"l x 1"h and is made of metal. It is artist signed C.F. Feurer. I have lightly cleaned it but it could be done again if desired. I didn't want to disturb the artwork by removing any paint. It has an art Nouveau look to it. There is gold gilding around the edge with cascading swags and a pretty floral arrangement in the center basket with blue. Lavender, pink and white flowers. It is signed in the green below the basket. This tole tray would be a great addition for any home or collector.

This is a beautiful antique hand painted floral black tole tray Pilgrim Art No. 148. This black colored metal tray is decorated on the front with delicate pink roses and blue flowers. It is also accented with a gold rim. Scrollwork around the sides and has cut-out handles at both ends. The back has the imprint which reads"Hand Decorated Tole by Pilgrim Art No. 148" The tray was well taken care of and in near excellent vintage condition. There is some light wear to the gold around the rim and very small spots of missing paint. There is a couple little scratches on one side not real noticeable. The tray measurements are 18 1/4" length x 13 3/8" width x 1 3/8" height. Please ask if you have any questions and thank you for looking!

2 Vintage Florentine Style Gilt Hand Painted Tole Frames - Beautiful - Italy
Two beautiful frames. These are florentine style gold with handpainted flowers in red and white. Although all maker and identification marks have been removed. I believe these were made in Italy. These are created on wood and have their original hangers on back. There are no flaws. The largest of the two measures 8" long and 6 1/4" wide with black background and the smaller measures 4 1/2" long by 3" wide with a navy blue background. Lovely!
