It is found in good used condition with the following condition issues.The paint has worn off a few strawberries and foliage. Primary colors are brown. Red, white and green on a black background. Antique/Vintage Toleware Metal Tray Hand Painted Flowers Big 21.5"W 16"L with...
I purchased this antique/vintage toleware metal tray at an estate. It does show used in condition and wear as well as some surface rust type places that I tried to get pictures of. I uploaded 10 pictures hoping they will speak for themselves. The description and the condition. Again, does show surface wear and has been used, there are places where the black color has worn and surface scratches and places and surface wear on the bottom as well. There's also some, what looks to be a lighter color of paint that dripped on it or got on it at one time on the outside of one of the corner's. You will hopefully see these places in the pictures. It's a big tray measuring approximately 21 1/2 inches side to side and approximately 16 inches top to bottom. It has the etched open designs along the raised edges/sides with a place for your hands ... moreon each side for carrying. It looks like an old one. I wasn't able to get any history on it. wonderfully painted Toleware trap. measures 17.25 x 14.25. this is a very good old one heavy with the wall hanger on the back. please view the pictures of the front of the tray for a few spots where the paint has been pitted and some rust has accumulated. look toward the pineapple and below the pineapple by the flowers there's a little spot look close at the track there is some spots of rust small ones though. The colors appear to be somewhat brilliant although painted along time ago and has a really good feel when you look at it.

This is a beautiful lot of toleware. Some of which is signed by the artist! The lot features a range of items that would be a great gift for the collector. The items are as follows: 1. The largest piece in the lot is a primitive wood bucket that is hand painted in a maroon color. It measures 11" tall and about 13" in diameter at the top. It would be a great decorative piece and could also work as a trash can or could be hung on the wall. 2. This early tin dustpan has a beautiful hand painted design on a black base. The colors are bright and when you flip the pan over you can see the age on this early tin dust pan. It measures 12" across the front and with the hole in the handle could easily hang on the wall. 3. It is signed and dated bottom left, appears to be 1946. It features a center picture of two Amish or Menonite women sitting at a table along with landscape scenes of the four seasons. There are matching roses centered along the side handles. There are losses to the paint, a large scrape center right, photo 4, losses around all the edges. Antique Vintage Americana Black Hand Painted Tole Tin Handled Pail w/ Lid Signed
Up for auction from a Maine estate. We have a great old tin pail, with lid and handle, hand painted in black with gold and mustard yellow tole decorations. Flowers and leafs in gold, decorate the lid. The sides are painted with a repeated pattern that have a scallop stylized shape. The edges of the lid are painted with mustard yellow brush strokes. The inside is painted mustard yellow. There are no dents or damage to the piece. The lid fits nicely and the handle has no issues. Very minor paint loss. Mostly on the handle. Does have that old alligator skin look when you hold it into the light. No loose paint anywhere. Measurements are 3" tall x 4 1/2" across. Please see all 12 photos for more description. Antique Vintage Large Hand Painted Tole Tray Black Floral This is a beautiful old tole tray in black. Gold, peachy-pink and various greens. Size: 22"L x 16"W x 1.5"H. To my limited knowledge of flowers, the painting includes roses, hydrangea and lilly of the valley. It is an interesting selection of colors and flowers that appear more updated than some other trays I've seen. It's really a beautiful painting with nice metal scroll work around the perimeter. No maker's mark. The tray is in very good condition. Minimal vintage wear. No rust. There are marks on the back from old mounting tape. Buyer pays shipping. Vintage Hand Painted Strawberries Tole Tray Signed by Artist Antique
