It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Would make a great addition to a Victorian glass collection! The base and stem are plain; the bowl is of clear glass. With deep cutting in a simple style. Ovals and narrow leaf-shapes. The bowl and the foot ha ve been joined at either end of the stem. All the glass is of a substantial thickness. Appropriate to the size of the item. There are one or two very tiny bubbles in the glass, and a larger one. Just off-centre, in the base which can be seen looking down through the stem. The bowl is certainly hand-made and has som e age to it. There is a realistic amount of very fine grazing around the edge of the base. A great piece to acquire for a 19th century collection. Or simply to use! Measurements: Height 11.5 cm Base diameter 9cm Top diameter 1 1 cm Condition: The bowl is in very good condition. Vintage antique South Bend Toys baby doll stroller. I believe this to be from the 1930's or early 40's. Has a wicker basket that is roughly 17x9. Stands a little over a ft from top of handle to floor. Has a folding/locking steel frame and cover. Also has steel wheels. It does need a few new nut and bolts to hold on cover and wheels. It has a ring on top for easy transportation with a hasp for a padlock lock. It would have held land deeds-wills and other important papers. c 1850 Victorian Paper Mache Domed Box ~ Tea Caddy w/ Inlaid Mother of Pearl Circa 1850 Victorian Era Paper Mache Domed Lid Box ~ Tea Caddy with Exquisite Mother of Pearl Inlay and Gold Gilt Decorated Accents. It measures approximately 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" wide and 5 3/4" high to the top of the lid. Condition: Condition is good but not perfect. For accuracy purposes- there are two chips along scallop rim located underneath the box. Shown in the photos this does not detract from the beauty, you cannot detect unless you turn the box updown to view. The lid has two areas of roughness from wear along the scallop rim along the backside, this also does not detract at all. The ebony lacquered surface shows correct, age commensurate crazing and light wear. On one hinge the screws have been stripped at some point in time causing the box ... morenot to align correctly when closed as viewed from the backside, the front does line up. The hinges are still functional as is or you can chose to repair. The interior is very clean. A true gem of a piece! This beautiful box is all hand painted with flowers. Gilt accents and inlaid mother of pearl. Beautiful original paint, hand painted gold gilt and inlaid mother of pearl decoration. The box has a lock but no key and it is missing the top portion of the hasp. The underside shows age appropriate wear with minor losses, as shown in the photos. Some areas of paint loss commensurate with age. Condition is good for age. Over 160 years old. This gorgeous tray is in structurally excellent condition(also note that the corners are dove-tailed, or tongue and groove construction ~ very nice) The painted floral design is excellent. In good color, and the paint is beautifully textured ~ slightly raised here and there. All along the edges of the tray. The black paint is scuffed, giving it a naturally charming vintage distressed look. This would be perfect with your shabby chic. Cottage, or Victorian decor. A very nice folk art style painted tole tray w/ a stenciled fruit basket. The painting reminds me of the stenciling found on Hitchcock Rocking chairs from the 19th century and maybe a Pennsylvania Dutch style artwork. Age is hard to determine on the piece. But the"alligatoring" of the paint makes me think that it is probably from the late 19th century. The metal is also relatively light and I cannot find any marks. Welcome. Up for sale is a Wonderful Antique 19Th Century stenciled toleware tray in very good original untouched condition. There are a couple of surface paint chips. Not bad. The surface finish of the tray is 99% intact and untouched. The cut out handles and rim are rolled. See The Ornamented Tray Reference Book, by Zilla Rider Lea, Page 188, Figure#54 for similar tray. The tray depicts 2 Peacocks on a mound in front of a large castle encircled by flowers, leaves and trees. The border has a fine motif of florals. One of the finest examples that we have sold. Antique Victorian Dated 1860 Folding Collapsible Toleware Tin Lunch Box Bird Lid
Pre Civil War Folding Tin Toleware Lunch Box Dating July 16. 1860 and stamped"Park" no doubt the maker) a tin black Japanned toleware folding lunch box with sliding lid. A bird decorates the center of the lid. The ends of the box are constructed with folded tin edges. A slot at one edge of the ends receive the hinge of the longer side. Although this hinge affair is broken away on one end, the lunch box will still collapse or stand. A grove along the top edge allows the lid to slide back and forth, opening and closing the box. Condition is remarkably good for the age but does have scratches. A few minor dings but no major dents. As I also mentioned, a broken hinge Size of the box is 8" long x 4-1/4" wide x 2" tall. I am selling an Antique Victorian Ornate Wall Pocket Magazine Sheet Music Rack. It is ornate gesso and wood in gold. It has a tin hand-painted tole floral panel in front. The back is now a plain piece of cardboard. But it was likely originally wood. It measures 18 inches by 14 inches and is 2 inches deep. It is held open by two original chains and falls open to a depth of 7 inches. This Victorian wall rack is in excellent condition. The gesso frame is in wonderful condition. There are no chips or cracks. The paint is perfectly aged and complete. The tin painting is also in excellent condition. The painting is complete and free from damage. There is one scratch through the orange center of a flower and two light scratches through two cream-colored petals. I’m not sure if these are visible in my photos. Also. These are painted black with painted bird and fish motifs on each one. They have black paint loss. Splits in the paint and there is a small chunk off of one of the edges that is 1/2 inch long. One of the bottom pieces is separated at the edge I tried to take a lot of pictures to show the damage closeup. Fortunately there is no paint loss on the actual design- just seems to be on the black which could be easily touched up if you'd like. There are also two white stickers on the back of one of them that I didn't have time to try to remove. Each one is 13 1/2 inches wide. 9 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches deep.
