Here we have an historic Framed Sheet Music Cover for the Boys in Blue March by Anthony Maresh. This lithograph was published by the Maresh Music Company of Cleveland. Ohio, circa 1905. It features a dashing U.S. Cavalryman of the Spanish-American War era sounding a bugle call while mounted on his galloping black steed. The generic wooden frame( not original) measures roughly 16.5" x 12.5" and has hanging hardware already installed. The lithograph was produced by Schubert Music Litho Company. Also of Cleveland, and is in aged but undamaged condition. This is an original patriotic lithograph from over 100 years ago which is in remarkably good condition and captures a great moment in America's past. We ship using USPS Priority Mail. Antique Snowshoes 1943 Military WWII 10x58
WWII era wooden snowshoes made in 1943. Size is 10"x58" Only certain companies were allowed to use rawhide since it was rationed during the war. Those companies were the only ones allowed to manufacture snowshoes with rawhide during the War. Typical used by military. This type of snowshoe has a very distinct flip to the toes so they do not get stuck in deep snow. I have used them as a display by my fireplace.

Up for auction is a rare circa early 1900's USMC conductior's baton. It measures 22" long. It is capped in sterling silver mounts. The heal is chased with the USMC insignia and engraved with the initials R.D.L. On the heal next to the word sterling is an eagle with HH on his chest and SER. 177. The heal is slightly loose; it spins but does not come off. The tip is marked sterling. The heal has slight denting. The tip show a little more denting. The finish of the ebony is in good condition. Not a perfect set by any means. The bindings of all three volumes are firm although in Volumes I and III, the rear endpapers and very last page of text have come loose(due, I suspect, to a manufacturing flaw since the identical pages in both volumes have come loose) but are intact and laid in. The text in all three volumes is lightly toned/tanned. Steel-engraved plates exhibit foxing. Also, some of the steel-engraved plates featuring portraits of the Generals appear to be missing(although some still remain) Volume II has some moisture blemishing at the front of the book affecting the frontispiece and early pages. I have here an antique Optima typewriter; the model is an Elite 3. this machine is in terrific looking and working order. The ribbon has long since dried out but all the keys. Hammers, barrel advance, space bar and return work smoothly. The Optima name plate is missing from the front of the machine. The carrying case even looks good and the original cleaning brush is included. What makes this typewriter so unique is the back of it says"Made in Germany" and right above that is a stamp which reads"Germany USSR Occupied" That stamp dates this item to the 1940's and I have never seen this type of stamp on an Optima typewriter before. ANTIQUE MILITARY Bb CORNET
This is a collectors cornet from my antique and vintage collection. It is a'Hillyard Military Cornet' Looking at the design and construction. I believe this cornet to have been in use toward the end of the 1800s. It has been repaired at some time in the past. There are of course some dinks, dents etc. It has the'wish bone' style double water keys. All slides move free as do the bottom sprung valves. Comes in a wooden'coffin' case of it's time. Hand-crafted in Georgian England c1880, Newly restored, Campaign/ military style, Mahogany, Brass hardware, 9 drawers. 1 cabinet, Hand-cut dovetails, Plinth base, Minor wear marks. Stains, Superficial wood separations on sides, Sturdy. Excellent condition, This remarkably beautiful mahogany credenza was originally crafted in England around 1880. Recently. A third-generation cabinetmaker restored the piece to near-perfect condition, with the result that the deep, lustrous complexion and pronounced grain of the mahogany now look more lovely than ... moreever. The distinctive brass hardware, whose square design characterizes the distinct military or campaign style, contrasts beautifully with the mahogany, producing a profoundly appealing piece. With a total of nine drawers(each featuring hand-cut dovetails) and a large cabinet, this credenza also contains plenty of storage space. Structural integrity remains as firm and steady as ever, although some minor wear marks and stains remain; the sides have also developed superficial separations in the wood. Overall condition is therefore excellent. This credenza contains plenty of storage space. The sides look great. The mahogany displays a deep. Lustrous complexion and a pronounced grain. Although this piece was recently restored. It does retain some of its older wear marks and stains, minor as they are. These distinctive brass pulls contrast beautifully with the mahogany.
