This is a wonderful estate sale find. It is a hand carved. Hand painted wood camel figure, carved from a single piece of wood. The wood is a dark black forest type wood. You can tell the figure is old. He has hand painted details in red and green on his back and face. A metal chain dangles from his neck. This camel would make a great addition to a vintage Christmas nativity scene. He stands 3" inches high and measures 3" inches long. Large 17" Unique Antique Hand Carved & Painted Wooden Folk Art Primitive Horse
This is a large 17" unique antique hand-carved and hand-painted wooden folk art horse. It measures approximately 17 1/2" tall x 17" long x 4 3/4" wide. There is a serious crack mid-way through the horse that can easily be glued(but not by me) there are other less serious cracks. Much paint loss, and a few nicks and bruises- just as there should be.
