Wonderful Antique Folk Art Wooden Puss in Boots Shoe Bank ~Excellent~
This wonderful antique still bank is in the shape of a dutch shoe. Puss in Boots is line carved and painted on the front of the shoe. The shoe has a lid that swings open and has two small loops that could be used to put a chain and padlock on the bank. The shoe is mounted on a decorative plaque. The top of the shoe has a coin slot and is decorated with carved flowers. The shoe measures 6 7/8" in length and is about 2.5" tall. The bottom plaque measures 7 7/8" x 3 7/8" at the widest point. The wooden portion of the boots measure 5" width x 13 1/2" length. The leather portion of the boots measure 8 1/2" at the widest point and 16" at the highest point. The wooden portion of the boots are hand carved into a Danish type shoe. The brown thick leather is hand tooled and machine stitched. The leather is fastened to the wooden boot with different sized tacks and nails. There are also metal supports on each side of the boots for support of the leather to wood attachment. This is a really interesting vintage wooden pencil puzzle box with Puss N Boots and another animal inlay'd on top. It measures 9-1/4" long by 2-1/2" wide. You slide the lid all the way back and turn the box to an angle to get to the bottom section. Inside are some kids things. Some incense and an eraser. I can remove that stuff if you don't it. This item is from a non smoking home. This clock works. It takes 1 double A battery. The original pen is missing, but it will hold any pen. The boots and hat are affixed to the wooden base, they are made from ceramic. This clock was made in Texas. The clock is in the shape of Texas, both it and the base are made of highly lacquered wood, the wood grain is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. The base is a slice of wood with the bark still around the edges, all highly lacquered and polished until smooth, the clock and base are very shiny-a very high gloss. It is about 6 inches tall and about 6 inches wide at it's widest point. It is made from natural wood. I don't know what kind. The pen holder is made of black plastic and it swivels. Dehner's Wooden Boot Stretchers & Boots

Vintage 70's(or early 80s? blue suede knee high boot by Sbicca. Size 9 and they run true to size. Boots have areas of discoloration and fading. But the suede is not thinning or worn down anywhere. Plastic zipper with metal zipper pull is in excellent condition and works perfectly. Soles and heels in excellent condition, I had the heel caps replaced so they are relatively new. Comfortable to walk in, these boots are lined inside at the top with leather and down the shaft with fabric. They are well constructed and in good condition considering their age- but bear in mind they are vintage and probably have their limitations. Antique CHILDRENS High Top Leather SHOES Boots WOODEN Soles UNUSED FRENCH 1946
Vintage FRENCH 1946 CHILDRENS High Top Leather SHOES Boots WOODEN Soles UNUSED Ref HE I found these in a now closed ancient shoe maker and cobbler's shop. They told me the date of the shoes was 1946. They also said that it was common practice in my part of France during the war. To use wood in shoes for durability. I do not believe that these have been worn. Certainly the soles are new, but it is also possible that these shoes were in the shop for new soles, because although the leather is stiff there are some creases in it. The toe part is very stiff(imagine steel toe caps, these feel the same) which again makes me think these are unworn. These are a delightful pair of children's shoes in a dark brown leather upper and a wooden sole. If you look closely on one of the photos. We can see the chisel marks in the wood. The grain of the ... morewood is also apparent on the soles. They have both a lace and buckle fastening. All stiff and the buckle is slightly rusty and stiff. I haven't polished these up. Preferring to leave that to the new owners, if they want. I though maybe someone would want these in their original state. I'm sure they would polish up beautifully to maybe a chestnut brown like the buckle strap. Dust seems to be engrained in the leather after all these years- they are not dusty on their surface. They are stamped 18 on the sole. Which if it is a size this would be a US 3 and a UK 2 Dimensions: Almost 8" or 20 cm long Almost 3" or 8cm wide Weight 500g Condition: Excellent

Wonderful Puss-in-Boots antique bank in the shape of a wooden clog or Dutch shoe resting on a plaque. The coin slot is on a slide lid that lifts off when the screw is unscrewed. On it is the original"bit-coin" and ribbon. Puss-in-Boots is line-carved. As is a castle, and these are painted. There are carved, painted flowers on the slide lid, as well. Decorative line trim to base, shown. Remarkable condition. Missing the screw that holds the slide closed atop the shoe-an easy fix. Base measures about 8" long and about 4" wide; the whole piece is a bit under 3" tall.

Vintage wooden skis. From what I can gather they are probably from the 50's. I bought them as wall decoration. They are in pretty good shape. The boots could use cleaning but I didnt want to ruin the authenticity. It doesn't look like they were used very much. The tail protector is missing from one side but has Mammoth engraved on the other side. The bases are worn somewhat, but add to the look.

We bought these skis and boots with a large collection of antique winter sport items,and were told they were 10th Mt. Div. We can not guaranty that they are. Although they are similar to those by the 10th Mt. Div. there are no markings to document that they are. White paint looks original,although it is well worn and crazed. What an excellent. Whimsical set! One bucking bronco pin and one ten gallon cowgirl hat with two cowgirl boots dangling! Age appropriate wear~as described. Bucking bronco is made out of wood and is hand painted. He even has a little stirrup and rein! Please note: The pin is there. The clasp is missing(but an easy fix) He measures about 3.5: wide x about 3" tall. The cowgirl hat has faux green stitching and has two carved cowgirl boots dangling. The boots have some crazing. Mostly on the back. Please note: the little cord the boots are hanging on is frayed and needs to be replaced. The boots have little holes on the side for re~lacing. The bootlaces and the lining of the shoes are also leather. The total height of the pair is 19 1/4 inches. The shoetrees are divided into four parts. With a brass ring on the top to separate them from the shoes, each is graved, one G for gauche, one D for droite. Although the boots bear some marks of time(a broken strap on the right shoe and a missing buckle on the other) Their patina is extremely charming and will fit perfectly in any shabby-chic or vintage home decor.
