These are a reproduction of a Georgian Wine Cooler in silver plate, urn shaped with lion head handles measuring 3" h and 2 1/2" diameter at rim. Three have the original cylinder box although one is missing the top lid. One of the urns is missing one ring from handle, all the others are complete but will need a good polishing. Up for auction is this lot of 4 Blue Daisy Button pattern toothpick holders or candle holders. They stand approximately 3.25" tall. I noticed on some of the seams they feel rough. I went over all 4 and found a total of 6 either little surface slivers. Fleabites or a little larger chip. When I say chip i don't mean a 1" chip. Their hard to see and find but thats what I found. Closer to a cobalt blue color really. All footed. Lots of pictures. A couple have Japan stickers on the bottom. I did clean but i see i left still a little wax in places. Someone had used for candles. Pre-owned. PICTURES ARE PART OF MY DESCRIPTION. These were originally marketed as cigarette holders. But would make wonderful toothpick holders for your next buffet. This listing is for a pair of vintage frosted glass toothpick holders. They feature a young lady with a basket and are unmarked. Measuring 5 1/4" tall x 3 1/8" at the base. While they are the same style, there is a bit of a color difference, as shown in the photos. The lighter one has tiny fleabites on the corners, only noticeable under very close inspection. Up for sale we have a great estate find! Here is a lot of five pieces of California redwood from a family trip that took place in 1941. There is one checker pattern bowl that measures 10" in diameter and about 2" deep. The bowl also has a lithograph of a redwood forest attached to the bottom. Next there is a plate that is about 8" in diameter and is marked"PHA Crafts SW" and also is marked by the previous owner with the date of their trip along who went. Also included is a vase that is 3 1/2" tall and two toothpick holders that are about 2" tall. These three objects have also been tagged by the original owner. The bowl shows a good amount of wear and has a small spot of gray paint on one side. The vase and the toothpick holders also have their fair share of scratches. Offered are 12 vintage glass toothpick holders. Included are two clear cut glass ones which appear to be from the American Brilliant period. The one with the scalloped top rim has a very thin sliver on the interior top edge. The blue Thousand Eye is a real nice piece with no damage. Another clear one is a footed Jacob's Ladder made by Bryce ca. 1891. Another clear one is in the Virginia 1901 pattern. It has manufacturer's flaw around the rim at the most protruding point. Columbia by Co-operative Flint Glass Co. is also clear. There is a clear Moon& Stars barrel-shaped one. Don't kn ow the age. P ossibly newer as it looks too nice for eapg. The ruby flashed with"Linden" sc ripted on it is a real nice piece w ith a polished bottom rim. I was unable to find the name of the oval clear one with a flat-diamond pattern. ... moreOr the blue-handled one wh ich looks original(not a repro) and has very slight roughness on the inside top rim. The am berina one might be newer- it's thicker than the others and marked U.S.A. with a D in a circle on the bottom. The last is the ruby flash in the Heartband pattern. It has minor flashing loss and still has a bit of gold trim on the top edge. I have not found any damage other than what I've noted. But please feel free to request additional photos or dim ensions. Vintage Pressed/Cut Crystal Toothpick Holders ( 3 pcs )
From my mom's Estate a group of three very pretty Toothpic k Holders. All in Clear Crystal. Largest with sawtooth edge measures about 1 1/2" at the base. 2 1/4" at the top, just over 3" tall, one with beautiful diamond cut base, measures about 1 1/2" at the base, 1 3/4" at the top, 2 1/2" tall, the smallest in a Victorian style has a purplish hue from age, measures 1 7/8" at the base, 2" at the top, 2" tall. Pair 2 L. E. Smith Daisy Button Toothpick Holder Holders Rare Turquoise Color
Daisy& Button Toothpick Holder Turquoise from L. E. Smith Description: Rare Turquoise Blue Button and Daisy Toothpick Holders from L. E. Smith These are a pair of urn shaped candle holders or toothpick holders in L. E. Smith's Button and Daisy pattern. There are 2.5" tall and are 2.25" in diameter at the rim. The base is 2" across and they are in a nice ice blue turquoise color. One is in near perfect condition with just a small chip under the rim. The 2nd has an internal hairline crack around the center about midway down. It doesn't carry through to the outside.
