Pair of 7 1/2" Signed "TG" Carved Wood Birds Eagle & Raven Inuit Alaska?
This interesting pair of carved wood birds. An eagle and raven, appear to be Alaskan, possibly Inuit. The raven is 7 1/2" tall and the eagle is 7 1/4" They are inscribed with initials, which appear to be"TG" or possibly"TCT" They are nicely carved and finished and painted with a sort of wash of dark gray and black. The eagle is in excellent condition, with a couple faint scratches, shown in close-ups. The raven is excellent with the exception of what appear to be chew marks on his beak, also shown in close-up photos.

Pair Gorgeous~Solid Handcarved Wood Finials 10" & 101/2" Tall Walnut?
I don't know much about this pair of Large Wood Finials. Found them at an Estate Sale and thought they were cool. I believe they are handcarved. Solid wood, but am not sure of what type. I was never good at identify trees once they were cut down. One of them has a drilled hole in the bottom. But the other one doesn't. One is 10" Tall and one is 10 1/2" Tall. Definitely handmade. Pair (2) Antique Painted Wood/Gesso Angels or Cherubs
A pair(2) of antique cherubs or angels. I believe these angels are wood(they are quite heavy) And have been covered in an overlay that resembles Gesso. They were also painted over at some point, with a cream or off-white paint, perhaps as a way to seal the cracks, or chipping of some of the gesso overlay. Each angel has a hook embedded in their backs, between the wings for hanging(to look like they are flying) and measure approx. 9 1/2" long x 6 1/4" at their widest point out to the tips of their wings. These angels were purchased close to 30 years ago at an antique flea market in Nova Scotia, where I was told they originally came from an old church. Approximately 2.5" x 3" Each block has two holes. As if originally doweled, perhaps in a fireplace surround The square top of the knight is chip on the corner. Represented by a walking bears on a rocky outcrops and chamois horns below for hanging“whips” I don’t believe these hooks are entirely old. The bears clearly are old(somewhere from the early 1900s) But the rocky outcrops with chamois horns appear not to be and were probably created in an effort to give the 2 bears something to do(rather than just sitting them on a table top, turn them into hooks! The bears have friendly faces, are in good condition, rich highlight colors, no missing ears or feet, nice glass eyes, and real chamois horns(no splits or broken tips) A few condition issues to note: the right nostril on the left facing bear is a bit worn(see pic) the left ear of the right facing bear has a chip; I can see evidence ... moreof reglues on a couple of feet; and there is a slight color difference between the bears(being old) and the bases(being not as old) But all-in-all, in spite of this old/new merger, they are really cool and very functional– they hung my house for years holding dog leashes. And if you don't like them as hooks, take off the bears! THIS AUCTION IS FOR BOTH.
