Originating from the regions of Piedmont, Genoa, Tuscany, Mantua, and Venice. Lot 35 is by Jacobus Cordanus of Genoa, circa 1770. It is sold with the certificate of W.E. Hill& Sons, and is estimated at $18,000-$24,000. Lot 36 is an interesting composite violin by Felicio Senta of Turin, with a later top by Bernardo Calcanius of Genoa. Its broad body and flat arching produce a strong sound with outstanding quality of projection. Sold with the certificate of Rembert Wurlitzer, it is estimated at $30,000-$40,000. 1963 Kay Guitar Catalogue, brochure - UK edition by Bell's Musical Instruments
Rare original edition(NOT a repro) of the February 1963 Kay Guitar Catalogue. Great early 60's graphics depicting many classic models produced by the Kay Musical Instrument Company of Chicago. USA during the companies heyday. The catalogue itself is 8 pages and includes the Jazz II. Swingmaster, Speed Demon, acoustic models and banjos amongst others. This is a British made catalogue produced for the UK market in early 1962 by Bell's Musical Instruments. As you can see from the pictures it's in very good condition for it's age- near mint with just a few light marks and creases from handling. No writing or pen marks. Vintage student flute in box-1980's King musical instruments
This is an older flute made in the USA by King and was carried for years by an old friend of mine. It somehow came to me and I know little about it. Case is here and all original with sturdy handle. Felt is red and has some marking in some spots due to age and wear. All pieces of flute are here also. When tested and put together had nice tone. I am sure it could use a cleaning but I am not by any means a music expert and leave it to the person who knows about such things. I am listing this at a fair price as I do not know what the quality of the flute is. Still, a nice piece for someone and hopefully a good value. Thanks for looking and please email with questions.

MAHOGANY CHIME TREE POSSIBLY ONE OF A KIND. SOLID MAHOGANY WITH ORNATE BRASS METAL WORK There is no evidence of a maker or date on this chime tree but i believe it was made somewhere around the turn of the century. The workmanship is well done. Showing beveled edging on the base and a tapered cap at the top of the column. The finish of the wood is original but has a little discoloration at the mid-section of the main column where perhaps someone tried to clean it years ago. This surface condition is in no way objectionable and blends in well enough that it hardly warrants a need to mention All the measurements given are approximate This chime tree consists of six 1” diameter solid brass tubular chimes that are cylindrical in shape. Each tube has different lengths starting from the longest which measures 18-7/8” long to the shortest which ... moreis 13-7/8” Each graduating down in size loosing 1” each in succession the chimes do not show any dings and have beautiful functional sound Height: 6’ 2” tall. Column: 2-3/8” square. Base: varying from 16-1/2” to 21-1/2” respectively due to its unique shape. There is a seasoned split in the base but the base is solid and as strong as the day it was made Note: when I found this instrument the tubes were wrapped separately in newspaper without any strings to attach them to the brass“hanging bar” which has an assortment of holes for hanging the tubes. 10 holes are evident and are spread randomly- unevenly throughout the bar) The bar extends out 16-1/2” from the main mahogany column- My research has shown that antique chimes sets such as this one were said to be used for calling one for prayer.
