My friend was a construction worker and was part of the renovation of the Tropicana in Las Vegas. These large vintage lion heads decorated the interior wall of the Tropicana. They are heavy and appear to be carved of wood. Possibly covered with gold leaf. Wood can be seen on the back of each piece. Impressive architectural artwork that was part of an iconic era.
