Offered here is a very unique early folk art thumb scoop. Most likely from the late 1800's or the early 20th century. This hand carved wooden piece has a very interesting animal figure adorning the top on the thumb scoop. It is in almost pristine condition and appears to have never actually been used. It is a lovely medium brown tone. This piece measures 4 1/2" L x 1" W at the widest point x 1 1/4" H.
