These antique/vintage nut crackers came out of my family estate in Newton. Massachusetts. They are very old as you can note the small flathead nails in the third picture; perhaps early 20th Century. They are in fine working order and beautifully made. I rarely see this level of craftsmanship anymore. I rarely see shelled nuts anymore! Good luck bidding.

A Fine Pair of Antique Carved Black Forest Nut Crackers c1890/1900
This antique carved black forest nut cracker I think dates from around 1890/1900. The nut cracker is finely carved and in the form of a full body bearded man with a hat and has fantastic detail to the carving as seen in the photos, there is repairs to the bottom of the beard as seen but otherwise in good condition, there is a hole in one side where the pin is inserted but not on the other so the pin is internal, the nut crackers measure 7.5 inches high

This is for a lovely Georgian wooden screw mechanism nut cracker made from wood and dating to the 1700s. The wood has a chip carved pattern on both sides of the ring and on the handle of the key and the key screws through the ring. It has a lovely aged patina and and it is in good condition for its age with just the wear you would expect for its age. It measures 45mm(1.75" in diameter and the key is 58mm(2.25" long. An Antique Pair of Carved Wooden Boxer? Dog Nut Crackers c1900/10
This pair of antique carved Black Forest wooden nutcrackers I think date to around 1900/10. The nutcrackers are carved in the form of a dogs head which I think may be a Boxer or Bulldog and have been really well carved with great detail and nice patina with age as seen in the photos, unfortunately there is some damage to the ears and someone has tried to repair them with filler or putty I think, there is a small nibble near the left eye of the dog and a small chip on the shoulder, apart from that there are some minor scuffs and scratches here and there, the nutcrackers measure 7.5 inches high, despite their damage a good working pair of nutcrackers that could be better repaired by a more talented restorer

An Antique 19th Century Screw Type Carved Treen Wooden Nut Crackers-Old Man.
This rare set of Antique Victorian 19th Century Carved Wooden Treen Nut Crackers date to around 1860 or thereabouts. They depict a Bearded Old Man Resting. Wearing a Jacket, a Hat with a Tassel at the back and long Boots. The Nut Crackers are of fine quality. And other than a chip to the tip of the nose and a couple of really tiny fleabite sized chips are in superb condition, with wonderful colour and patina. The screw action works beautifully. They stand approximately 6 inches high. Weigh around 55 grams, and will make a fabulous genuine Antique addition to any similar collection.

Dating from the 19th Century with detailed carving of two dog heads with collars to the handles. Unfortunately one handle is cracked- see photos- but the other is in good condition. There are two similar'cup' styles which are quite easy to work with. The top opening are both about 1.5" 3.5cm) diameter. Closed they are 5" 12.5cm) long. One is a lighter wood and the other is darker. The third nutcracker I am offering is a whimsical wild man. With bulging eyes. Red nose and a big mouth surrounded by a rustic beard.
