Non-Working Retro Look Pelouze Model Y50 Scale Turn It Into Something Artistic
The photos above are the actual item you will get. This is a retro-looking Pelouze model Y50 scale. But be aware that IT DOES NOT WORK. The red needle moves, but I can't manage to calibrate it correctly so it shows accurate weight readings. It measures approximately 8.5 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 7 inches"deep. I bought this at an estate sale hoping to use it to weigh packages. But no amount of fiddling with the adjustment knob could make it show weights that I trusted. If you are handy, maybe you can repair it, but I'm not, so I haven't! It still has a spring inside, and it is supposed to go up to 50 pounds. Also. Be aware that the weight chart on the front that shows shipping amounts is for January 1995 rates, so those figures no longer are accurate. But like I said. Taken from the personal notebook, of Inez Keller. Condition is good minus and clean for the age with some minor creases and finger presses. Most of these occur on upper portion of top blank margin. Paper is medium weight. Overall size is approximately 8 inches by 10.5 inches. Provenance is. Drawing is from the estate of Inez Keller, an MSA student who graduated in the early 1930's from the Massachusetts School of Art in Boston. I attended the estate sale myself, and purchased her art notebook. She did not sign this, but her name is on parts of the notebook, I removed this drawing from. I wrote the provenance on back.
