Antique Quarter Sawn Mission Oak Globe-Wernicke Barrister Stacking Bookcase
34" wide. 69" tall, 12" deep. Three 10" tall D-8 1/2 sections, Two 12" tall D- 10 1/4 sections base and top. This is a completley original barrister fully sanded and refinished. Original brass side straps and handles polished and clear coated so will not tarnish. All original wavy glass. Only flaw is a burn spot on top. I did not replace the veerner becuse wanted to keep the originial quarter sawn and can't see anyway due to height of bookcase. No shipping pick up only. Located 20 miles west of Kalamazoo Mi. Antique Arts n Crafts Mission Mahogany Stacking Bookcase Bottom Section Base
I will combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible. Here is a base for an antique stacking bookcase. I do not know who made it. And I think it is mahogany, but it is possible it is maple with a mahogany stain. It measures 34-3/8 inches long, 11-1/2 inches deep, and is 7 inches tall. It has a very dark finish, as you can see in the photos, and there is some glue residue dripping down the inside of the legs. Please see the photos for a more accurate description of the condition. Original Arts and Crafts bookcase cabinet. You can easily tell this is the original finish. Metal Hardware on doors. Good condition overall with a nice patina but missing the metal knob for the door. Globe Wernicke Bookcase Rare Arts Mission Style.
Arts Mission Bookcase. Excellent age related condition. Circa 1900. Two very large bookcases. Both being D 12 1/4. Base with drawer in great shape. And drawer opens and closes fine, as do the glass doors. Glass on both cases are wavy and old. But I can't attest to there originality. One of the glass doors has been extended at one point. Who. What, where, or why, I don't know. This is a solid wood series. Made with quartered and fumed oak. The pictures are very accurate in terms of condition and color of the wood. Which is darker then golden oak, with a reddish tint. The top piece does have a bit of lifting. But no splitting. Local pick-up. No shipping unless pre-arranged.

From an estate. 4 shelf solid oak book case as shown. All joints are doweled and as a bonus. Globe Wernicke bookcase with top piece-Mission Arts.
Very nice early Globe Wernike mission arts bookcase section with its top piece. The case is in excellent original condition. The top piece that goes with it does have some grain lifting on one end and a circular ring stain near the middle. Both of which I pictured to the best of my abilities. The case is solid flumed oak.

Hello. Up for auction is this striking antique solid oak, leaded stained glass, double door bookcase with scroll feet, with four adjustable shelves, and original hardware, with key for locking. It is solid oak, and in great shape for an old piece, including the original finish. Book case was made by Larkin soap company, of Buffalo, NY at the turn of the century, although there are no manufacturer's marks on it. It is indeed a Larkin. No breaks, or cracks in glass. Larkin was an early 20th Century soap manufacturer, who started giving away furniture as promotional items, and had so much success, they started making, and selling their own line of furniture. This auction for your consideration is an original Globe Wernicke bookcase. This piece was made in Cincinnati. Ohio around the turn of century. It measures 62 inches tall and 34 1/2 inches across. It has rolled feet and mission pulls. I think top is made of Mahogany, inside pine and outside Walnut. In very nice condition for age. 2 small pieces of wood scroll missing above both legs not a hard fix at all,I am just not qualified to repair. I not tried to clean much except for windows and wiping off dust. Sizes of sections are photographed from top of case to bottom. This is a pickup auction only. Stickley Mission Arts and Crafts Double-Door Oak Bookcase - Circa 1900
Excellent Condition: Bookcase designed by Harvey Ellis. Who worked for Gustav Stickley between 1903 and 1904. This heirloom quality piece first appeared in the October 1903 issue of the Craftsman. Distinctive features include wide overhanging top, arched apron and flaring pilasters. Each door(designed to be opened with key) has three leaded glass panels and lower panels divided by a central mullion. Plaster flank and divide the doors. Which open to four adjustable shelfs on each side. Arts and Crafts style. Year of mfg– 1997: Heirloom quality. Circa 1900. Retails for ~$4.100.

Mission-style antique dark oak revolving / rotating bookshelf / bookcase 53"h
This is a lovely antique Mission-style rotating bookshelf in dark oak. Its dimensions are: 53" high. 23" X 16.5" top(which is the largest width/depth of the piece) It rotates very easily-no noise or dragging whatsoever. The bookshelf is on wheels which makes it very easy to move around when empty. I would guess that it was refinished prior to my having purchased it(10-15 years ago) as the finish is in excellent condition. Buyer needs to pick up in San Jose OR arrange shipping.

reproduction GUNN Sectional Bookcase Hardware - Barrister - regular or mission
Offered here is a PAIR of reproduction Gunn Bookcase shelf brackets for the regular size Gunn sectional bookcase sections in TWO different styles either the regular or mission style. These were originally made of cast iron but sometime in the evolution of Gunn bookcases the company decided to go away from cast iron and had them made of stamped steel instead. Probably due to cost and breakage of the brittle cast iron. As there is and was no commercially made reproductions of this part, I decided to have them done myself at considerable expense about 10 years ago. I have found when I find this brand of bookcases at auction they are often sold disassembled with parts missing or broken. I have a limited number of these parts in the regular and mission style to sell on eBay and when they are gone they will no longer be available. If you need more ... moreof either the regular or mission style. Please ask and we can do a buy it now on eBay or a separate listing. The new parts have a light coating of oil. They are made of steel which can be colored with a gun bluing solution. A rust remover such as Loctite Extend or spray paint, etc. after cleaning with a solvent such as lacquer thinner. The new parts pictured are with a old antique original mission part which is to confirm the new ones are the correct size. Only the new parts are offered for sale. The old one is for display only.
